The purpose of this thread will be for posters to register one weigh-in each week

While Monday is the day that some of us weigh-in, feel free to weigh-in ANY day you feel like it.

Also, feel free to Edit a weight, if you feel the weight you put down initially is not indicative of what your weight really is.

If you don't want to weigh-in a particular week, just put XXX instead of a weight.

Please feel free to join in and use this thread as a way for us to monitor our weights in a friendly atmosphere.

Feel free to "jump-in" any time--you DON'T have to have started on January 4th.  You don't have to weigh-in each week, either. 

You may just list your weekly weight, and I or some other poster will put it in the correct place.  Or, if you feel comfortable doing it, COPY THE ENTIRE POST WITH THE LAST PERSON'S NEW WEIGH-IN and then PASTE IT INTO A NEW REPLY WINDOW Either way is fine, as it will get put in the proper place.

Tomato:  Good job!  I went the other way--celebrated yesterday, as the college football season ended.  Now, I will watch the NFL as I ride my bike and try to get down from my 177.2.  If I don't watch myself I will have to leave the Maintenance Board and go over to Weight Loss.

Shane: Nah, it's just a blip, you'll be back in check soon.  I think you must have this down to an art. :)

Tomato:  LOL!  What I have down to an art is trying intuitive eating, not recording regularly, and gaining weight!  However, overall, I think I can get back to regular maintenance once February starts.  I am trying an ab "challenge" where I am going to try combining planks, crunches, hanging abs, and Bender ball ab workouts on a daily basis to see if I can get a 6-pack.  It ain't a goin' ta be eazy!  Anyway, again, congrats on your weight and your consistency.  I would say you got through the holiday season quite well!

Jazz: Thanks!  Congrats to you, too!  Great post holiday weight! I had a strange thing happen yesterday: during the Green Bay-Arizona NFL game, I got so engrossed in it that I rode my bike past the hour setting and didn't realize it, so I didn't get any of the read-outs such as calorie burn and mph.  But it sure made riding easy.

The holiday weight was coming off nicely until I hit the weekend.  Frown

Ah well, I'm trying for under a pound a week loss anyway, it'll average out.

I got down to 285 and went for a 2 hour bike ride on SAT.  I must of swelled as I was 5 lbs UP on SUN.  I was soooo mad!  I have kept to the diet and continue to CC.  It may be fluids built up in the sore muscles.  I will check again thoughout the week.

I've had the stomach flu since my 40th birthday on Monday, off and on. Kids have had it too. No appetite. Maybe my stomach will shrink... Is there any clinical proof of that? LOL

Good job on losing the 3 pounds, but I hope you and the kids get over the flu soon.  Also, hope you get a healthy appetite back, too.  I am having trouble getting back to my maintenance window, but now that it is warming up,  I can go for some long walks, again.
