Official Rules

  1. Keep yourself healthy by not losing excess amounts of weight per week; a healthy weightloss goal is 1.5lbs per week. Anything you lose over this amount will not be credited with points.
  2. Weight loss is only taken into account from the time you enter the challenge. Overall weight loss is acknowledged but not attributed points.
  3. You and your team gather 5 points for every half pound you lose and if you maintain your weight (+ or - 0.4lbs from your last weight) you and your team will gain 2 points.
  4. You and your team will win 1 point for every half hour of exercise you do per week. Your team will also win an extra 10 points if you are the person who's worked out the most in the week. (Don't die)
  5. Weigh-ins and official reportings of your time spent working out are due here every Friday. The Week's Awards will be announced Sunday night, so please report before that!
  6. Have fun and get/stay healthy!!

This is the continuation of a previous thread. For reference to the nature of the original challenge, please refer to the original post.

Okay, in THAT case, starting weight would be 141.

Mmmm...bagels. We don't have them here, which is a good thing. I got SO addicted in New York. My hostel had free bagels and muffins for breakfast as well, so some days I'd grab two or three muffins for during the day...holy cow!

I think half of what I gained IS mucle though, because my suitcase by the end got up to 72lbs *dies* and I carted that thing all over the city, and up/down many flights of stairs. And now I'm back at work, I found the other day that I could carry two chicken boxes like the boys, instead of just one :D

Although of course no one saw this wonderous feat of mine :(
Aw fae ! =) When I moved to the US I thought bagels looked stupid/weird, until almost 3 years later I tried one, and realized I was missing out.
I was 200 lbs when I joined CC. So I guess that should be my starting weight. :-)
I used to think bagels were weird, too, and avoided them until one day my mom gave me one with strawberry cream cheese on it... Ahhh!

But I have no trouble avoiding them, now. I never thought to see how many calories are in one bagel, typically.

Mmm, and those stores that will toast the bagel for you and put cream cheese on it...awesome!

I finally went for a run today as well - first time since I returned home :) Used to run after dinner for 35-40 minutes last year...managed 17 minutes tonight, going to work up to it slowly! (Well, I could have gone further, but the route I chose was shorter, and had me back home in 17, and also I couldn't find a sports bra in a hurry and my strap was annoying me so anything more would probably have sent me into a tantrum!)
Back when I used to get a bagel every once in a while at Dunkin Donuts, I was surprised to find out that it has way more calories than a normal glazed donut. I always avoided the donuts, thinking the bagel would be better. Yeah... right!

One of the good things about having bad memory is that I quickly forget how good things are. I haven't had a bagel in a couple of years. The downside is that I sometimes remember things tasting better then they actualy do and feel the craving to have them =P

Hurray for the run lfae. I haven't gone back to running in a looooong time. I actually went running the two first weeks while I was away, but I haven't since then *^_^*
Haha i love it. My bagel created quite a stir. They are typically about 320 calories (plain). By no means is that wonderful, but it usually surprises people to find out two slices of toast + butter, or a big bowl of cereal + milk, or a simple peanut butter sandwich aren't far off. (If you add gobs of cream cheese, well then yes it's much worse.) One "serving" of cereal doesn't do it for me. I try, but I always go back for seconds.
i found mini bagels in the store that are only 130 calories each....i get the cinn. raisin ones, that way i dont need to put any spread on it and it tastes yummy.....i usually eat one of those along with a bowl of special k cereal....i like the red berries and also the yogurt and berry variety....verrrry good

weight: 115.5 excersize: 11h (+10min...)

oh man, and now I'm thinking of how many times I told myself NOT to have a donut, and how many times I DID have a bagel, lol!

I'm totally addicted to apple-cinnamon granola right now...or I was in the US, the closest thing here I can find is "crunchola"! Tastes pretty much the same - ie. so delicious I want two bowls.
for the votive bombshells...

C: 134.7 lbs
L:  2.2 lbs
EH: 5.5 hours

hooray!  on my way down...

Go Votive Bombshells!  And to all the ppl wondering what a votive bombshell is, I'm gonna take it as a funny way of saying 'a hot sexy lady' - think votive like votive candles, we're on fire!  And bombshell... well that one's easy to explain, Wikipedia does it for me!

  • C: 222.5
  • L: 1.3 lb
  • EH: 7.5 hrs
Wow you all are doing awesome!!!! =)

My weight is creeping back up, boo! 117.2, and I only did 40min exercise this week =|

I need to get inspired by you and stop being lazy and go exercise haha

Oh and by the way, when you post you can just tell me current weight and exercise hours. Because if people go up and down (like me) it can get complicated. For example, next week if/when I go down it won't all count as a loss because I had been lower before. We did this, so that people wouldn't get weight loss points for the same actual lbs coming and going.
