hahah yall i went to the gym today and i was sweating SO MUCH that my shirt practically became see-through and this adorable tiny girl was running on the treadmill right next to me in spandex and a longish sports bra without even breaking a sweat.. i felt like a little pig

oobolensky- good work! Sounds like you were literally sweating up a storm and killing fat like a bad ass. Hm... you're all so inspiring to me and I keep on saying that.. yet I do nothing. Bad Amanda. Bad.
selayher- 1,450 sounds perfect. As long as you aren't shoving fats and crap into your body to get up to 1,450, you should be fine. Was that the amount recommended in order to lose weight or to maintain?
ALSO, I had a long talk with my mom (yes yes, but only 2 more months living with her) today about various things and we started talking about pilates. We've decided that for the next couple of months while I'm still here, we're going to dedicate an hour or so after work to aerobics and pilates everyday! I'm really excited because I've been trying to get *someone* to work out with me and having my mom do it with me is just awesome. I have no reason to be embaressed in front of her--she is my mom afterall--and she'll be benefiting just as much as I will from it.. awesome.

Aww. My computer's been acting wacky lately, so I've been writing everything down and then entering it in when it's behaving or at a friend's place. Guesstimate while you're there, write it all down, and enter it in when you come back :)
Ooo.. that sucks, selayher, feel better. :) And like sparkleriot said,
you can basically just guess and get pretty close. If you just watch
what you're putting in your mouth, that's all you need to do. I'm sure
your body will tell you when you've gone over 5,000 calories. :D

hope you start feeling better soon, selayher! I've pretty much been sick all week, mostly better now though - managed to take my dog for our usual after dinner run, first time all week!
I also treated myself to a gingerbread man...hehe. I was DYING for something sweet and junky! So I got it and a dozen cherries to eat on my way home from work. It was a gingerbread spiderman with icing and actually only 98 calories, which I could easily fit into my day :D I swear, it's the little things that keep me happy ;)
Anyone else always treat themselves too? I do it far too often!

Hmm No reason to congratulate me really... This week was insane for me, so I was always running around. Also... I was down to 121 two weeks ago but then last week it was that time of the month so that's probably the extra weight I was carrying. I will however take the congrats for not taking the lack of time as an excuse to go and eat crappy fast food =)
And... take your time updating this stuff, it will be a bit of work. I don't know if you prefer that we add the points ourselves so that you don't have to go through that in addition to updating the score board.
For example, me [S=124 L=2.2 C=121.8 pts:15 (max 1.5lb/wk)] EX=1
And yeah... I definately agree with you, on no losing points, unless it would be more like losing certain pts for putting up 5lbs, something big that indicated a real lack of healthy behavior, not like 2lbs which you can get overnight for ice cream o_O Dunno... I wouldn't like to lose points for that, but then again... someone could gain one week, lost the other, gain one week, lose the other (which is usually my pattern) and that would make the person gather up points for the same actual lbs lost, just at several different times.

i too gained weight, and i only have myself to blame. i was down to 116 on saturday but ran a half marathon on sunday, got a head cold, and proceeded to pig out for 4 days straight! BLECH anyhow....

Okay. Just got back from the gym. Loss for the week- 3.5lbs and time of exercise: 4.5 hours.
I need to up my exercise time. I had some foot problems last week but it's all taken care of now so I hope to be up to at least 6.5 hours for next week. :)

Ok?.soooo I kinda messed up on the orginal weight. I don?t have acess to a scale unless I head over to our fitness center and go into the training room. But yesterday when I went to the Doc. They said I weighted 173 and that was with shoes, and all that jazz. And I weighted myself today and I weighted 170.5.
So I think just put my weight at 173. That way I only lost 2.5 and it doesn?t look outrageous, I?m not THAT much of an overachiever! J
