Welcome to 2012! I STILL need a challenge.  I know some of you are up for it!  We weigh-in Fridays - something weekly to keep me us focused.  But do what works for you.

Anybody can join whenever they want, or quit whenever they want.  I'll be here EVERY week to post my weigh-in!  It'll be fun to have people here with me, lol.

I fell off for several weeks and that was just laziness. Heyleese, I read one of your posts and got the impression you thought that you should do more to keep people here and on track. That is not the case. We are all responsible for our own contributions. I am dismayed that you have felt like that. I for one will try to stay on . You have been a wonderful support.

Now, have planned a vacation with my sister for end of March and I really need to get busy so starting all over again. Won't make the Christmas goal so have a March goal-March 15th 165 pounds.

Terrible last 6 weeks-my immune system seems to have deserted me. Allergies popping up to all kinds of everyday things, ecsema on face and in hair that comes and goes, ear infections, joint issues-hoping that gets sorted out soon. Can't even exercise by going for a walk because my old bum knee collapses. However, the elbow that delivers the calories seems to be just fine.

If anyone on here is from New Orleans, send me some tips for a vacation. Also, Tennessee ideas would be great.

Take good care. Christmas on the way in 2 weeks and I still need to do some shopping. Son's family going to her family this year so trying to be stoic.

Just checking in, although I have not weighed in two weeks.  I saw my doctor last week--different scale and it was just after a meal, so not what I call a weigh-in--but I was holding steady.  He even called me "skinny" and asked me to give him this website.  I'm not skinny, but lots of people are commenting on my results.  I've decided not to worry too much right now.  I'm trying to exercise more to off-set any over-eating.  Most days I do OK, though.

thanks for checking in - you are an inspiration, too!  so many BIG losers in this challenge!

Sorry I'm late, but I didn't record it on Friday anyway. Had family in town, cleaned the house like a mad woman, then we drank and had a great time painting wine glasses etc.

I'm with you Heyleese! I just gotta get my head back into the game! I think I've been trying too hard to get that feeling back that I had this time last year and got me down 60 pounds. Thank goodness I've only put back on a minimal amount, though minimal is still unacceptable!!!

Okay so normally I'd be complaining and raging about this number buuuut I was at my office christmas party last night. I drank a good bit but mostly spirits with diet 7up so there is no way that this weigh in is not water weight! or that my digestive system is unhappy at me for all the booze!

Good  Fantastic news is that I passed the 40 lb mark this week!

Bad News is that I'm really worried about my husband's work Christmas party tomorrow. They're taking us to one of those Brazillian Grill places that keeps bringing around different kinds of meat the whole time you're there, and that's in addition to the buffet table they call a "salad bar". . .ugh.  I'm going to try really hard not to eat too much, but I still have no idea how I'm going to log all of it.  *Thinking positive*

One really good binge last Friday. That's all this was. Plus practically no exercise this week. Somehow, I'm still very pleased with where I'm at. Without this challenge, around the holidays I have easily gained 7-8 pounds. So to be where I'm at, I'm thankful. It's so awesome to see so many people keep dropping each week, but also a tad bit frustrating to have this binging problem. I don't even think about what I'm doing when I'm doing it.

This is a big week! Lots of baking, but my shopping is pretty much done, so I should have more time for exercise. We'll see what happens, I'm still going to be pretty busy.

So, I actually took a Zumba class for the first time last week, and I loved it!  It was hard work, but really fun at the same time.  It definitley got me out of my exercise rut.  I also bought an Xbox Kinect and love Dance Central....its so much fun and a good light workout.  My husband even likes it...it's so cute watching him dance!  I am so surprised that I had a loss this week.  I put on my students' holiday concert yesterday and ate more than usual so I didn't feel deprived during the show.  Actually, I've been eating more than usual for the last few days.  I was just aiming for maintenence this week, so I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the scale.    Staying on track should be much easier this week now that my concert is finished, I can relax and enjoy the holidays.  I have two family functions this week and of course they are centered around food, but I will remember to stay strong.  My inlaws are visiting tomorrow, and my Aunt and Uncle are visiting on Wednesday.  Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate!   Have a great week, everyone....thank you for your continued support.  This blog really helps me stay focused and motivated! =)

On paper, I've "gained" 0.2lb, but in reality, it's water retention - I had way more sodium yesterday than normal.  I'm pretty darn sure my 'real' weight is 146.something, so meh.  Next week will reflect my real weight, I hope!  (Then again, it might be TOM by then, so maybe not, haha.)

Thanks for the support and confidence Heyleese it's very much appreciated! I almost wanted to back out, but this week I rocked the workouts. So even though the scale didn't change this week, it's bound to soon.

Earlier this week my local store finally got the new Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii and I got it....IT"S TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!! So much fun! I follow it up with the EA Sports Active 2 (also for the Wii) I'm in phase 2 of the 9 week challenge(set to 'hard') and feeling great! So 4 days a week EA A2, and every day I want to I Zumba til I hafta stop! :D
