Welcome to 2012! I STILL need a challenge.  I know some of you are up for it!  We weigh-in Fridays - something weekly to keep me us focused.  But do what works for you.

Anybody can join whenever they want, or quit whenever they want.  I'll be here EVERY week to post my weigh-in!  It'll be fun to have people here with me, lol.

Back in the 180's again.

Since I last posted to this thread I went to my nieces birthday where I partook in everything bad for me that man ever created! Gained 6 pounds in one day (tom) and my divorce papers came back with an error.

I exercised and ate so clean the rest of the days that it was very self satisfying. So I'm only down .6 pound this week but I so friggin earned it!

Up 0.2lb, but it isn't "real" weight gain - slight water retention plus (mild TMI, sorry) constipation.  I can usually keep my IBS in line with diet, but I'm gonna have to add in some fiber caplets to help things out.  I've kept within my calorie limits all week, so I know that's a non-issue.  I'm not concerned, but I -am- annoyed - I was hoping to see ~143 this week! ;)  Still hoping to see 143 for Monday's goal, though.

Today is "Healthy Heart Day" at my gym. They're doing free health screenings and body fat testing. I'm excited to really find out how much farther I need to go to reach a healthy weight. (Since BMI isn't always accurate, depending on how much muscle you have.)

C'mon Heyleese. If your goal is to motivate, inspire and educate people from around the world, you have accomplished it. If your goal is to kick the hardest addiction around, you have accomplished it. If your goal is to finish your masters and improve your life with education, you have accomplished it.

If your goal is to rid yourself of a few pounds of fluff in the next year, you can do it. My lord, look at everything you have accomplished so far.

I would say you can accomplish anything. Just a little time is all you need.

1/27/12 - ? - I didn't weigh in today because I was very bloated & it's that time of the month right now...so I will either weigh in monday or just skip this week and weigh in next week =)

2/3/12: 131.2 (-.80) - I know it's good that I lost something, but I wish I had lost a lot more...I am wondering if I am not logging something or something??? But, I feel a lot lighter. It could just be I am gaining muscle cause I am doing weight training and I know I have built up a good bit of muscle :P

2/10/12: 132.4 (+1.2) - I knew I should've skipped weighing this week. I found out I have pleurisy and I am taking some steroids (yuck) and they are making me feel like crap, I think they may have put that 1.2lbs on too. =(

The first 10 lbs are the easiest. Everything else is really hard work. Super Bowl = bad food. Being 23 = occasionally I want a beer or 6. Motivation has started decreasing and my weight is slow to decrease at all. I try on the bridesmaids dress tomorrow... Size 18. I hope it's big!

Thanks to all the inspirations on here... I dream of that long term healthy goal of 160!

Hello ladies!!!!

I've been stressing about my weight for a month now and haven't done anything about it at all. I stopped weighing in regularly and am up 5 pounds in mid January- back to where I was in July, when this challenge originally started. I'm pretty frustrated and I'm so so so tired of all of this. But I need to be here. Without it, I creep back into the 140's. I don't want to be a 140's girl. Ever. I want to be a 130's girl. Really, I just want my clothes to fit better and not be uncomfortable in my own skim. Sigh...

5 weeks square 1 on the scale but I am shrinking this week. I added my strength training back in this week and modified the time goals on my other stuff. Had a bad week with seeing chiropractor 2x, but alls better. Still good overall with eats but still too many sweets at the moment.

Marryth- I found that fiber supplements didn't contribute nearly as much overall as when I added Kellogg's All Bran Bran Buds to my daily routine. 1 serving (1/3c) has about 12-14g of fiber in it so 2 scoops will do your whole day. If you don't like bran cereal (I'm not a cereal eater) I dice an apple and mix some FF caramel dip (for sweet tooth) or some yogurt in a bowl, mmmmm. Or I just add a scoop to a yogurt cup for a nice crunch. I've had days where I've easily gotten 45g of fiber. Just make sure you drink plenty of water :)

@gb4enoexcptn -- Thanks for the suggestions!  Unfortunately for me, I can't eat a lot of "normal" foods - I can't have dairy, egg, or anything containing gluten.  (Plus I don't eat meat; that bit's by choice.)  I do get a fair bit of fiber since I eat so much fruit/veg/beans, but every once in a while, my IBS flares up and decides that my normal intake just isn't enough!  D:

Side note - it seems like every time I reach a mentally-acceptable-for-me weight, I burn out and eat like crap for a few days.  I'm done with that, but I'm sure I'm up a bit from where I was.  My solution?  I'm not going to weigh in for four weeks.  I -will- weigh myself every Friday, but I'm not gonna look - I'll have my hubby add it to my little Notepad document, and I'll post it all on March 9th's weigh-in.  It's going to be weird not weighing in weekly for a while (I've weighed in every Friday since this little group started!) but I think it'll help me get my head back into the game to not see the numbers for a while.  Hopefully I get a little bit of a happy jump in numbers from four weeks' accumulated loss!

I'll still post here on Fridays, but my posts will be number-less for a while. ;)  Think happy thoughts for the 9th! ;D

I guess I should be happy with that, when I consider that I really didn't eat the greatest this week. At least it went down! And my husband bought me a vitamix blender for Valentines (I know it sounds weird, but I'm really excited about it), so now I'm hoping it will be a lot easier to eat my healthy food because it won't take so much time to prepare.

Today is my first Friday in what feels like forever that I have no idea how much I currently weigh.  I know I had gained a little (my guess says ~1.5lb, based on how I felt) but I think I've lost a little of it.  Yesterday wasn't a great food day though.  Need to head to the grocery store this weekend - I'm out of salad stuff AND raw almonds, boo!  I'm out of clementines too, which stinks.  (I swear, I'd live on clementines if it were feasible!)  So yes, post-work tomorrow = grocery time.

I'm sure I'll burn a ton of calories at work tomorrow, so that's always nice.  Saturdays are my good/bad days - good because they're a good workout without me deliberately working out, but bad because I'm frazzled by the time I get home!

The weather is getting nicer, so I want to get out more with my youngest during the day.  I hate her current stroller, so I'll look at buying a new one this weekend. :)
