Welcome to 2012! I STILL need a challenge.  I know some of you are up for it!  We weigh-in Fridays - something weekly to keep me us focused.  But do what works for you.

Anybody can join whenever they want, or quit whenever they want.  I'll be here EVERY week to post my weigh-in!  It'll be fun to have people here with me, lol.

Down 1.2lb from last week - awesome! :)  I really need to buy myself some new pants, and a new belt too!

We'll be looking at a new house tomorrow, and I'm trying not to get too excited before I even see the place...but on the surface of things, it's perfect for us!  (Same great area we're in now, kiddo wouldn't have to switch schools, within our price range.  Exterior is cute, and there is a garden in the backyard for me!)  Guess we'll find out tomorrow post-work!

Whoa, Grats on the 1.2 loss! I hope the house is all you dream.  My scale is loving me too, but more importantly I'm loving me by putting awesome goodness into it and moving it furiously. So now I feel great and I'm right where you started and feeling great now so I can only imagine how I'm going to feel with 20 or 30 more pounds gone. Have a great week and good luck with the house!

Overall Challenge Loss: - 2 lbs  

The ???'s are because I made the hard decision(for me) to give up the scale for a while. It's only adding mental problems where I shouldn't have them. I actually have had to wear a belt with my jeans for the last little while and can wear a pair of shorts to bed that used to cut off circulation to my legs...so I KNOW I am on the right path and getting somewhere! I have even just added Brazil Butt Lift to my extensive/diverse exercise routine and love it! I know the results will show now and I'm excited :) but I feel the pressure I put on myself because of my obsessive weigh-ins are holding me back. So I'm giving it up for at least a month and then I'll see where I am and go from there. I'll still pop in.

Well, one more week until the Easter challenge is over and I'm already 3 lbs below my goal. I'm not going to edit my goal I'm going to see how much I can beat it by. I already feel a great sense of satisfaction at my progress and am looking forward to the next challenge already. I know they will only get harder to achieve and this has been an extraordinary month with me being in the hospital but it was the kick in the pants I needed to recharge my spirit.

@GB you are doing the right thing, we are not numbers on the scale and when doing these challenges we use pounds instead of amount of exercise, base heart rate, caloric intake or inches. It's just the easiest thing to calculate. Enjoy your journey, that means more.

I'm on a mission Whinry... I have a wedding to go to and my Ex will be there with the woman he cheated on me with. Funny thing is that I met someone really nice, and since I have the whole 'I'll show him' attitude has softened into 'I wanna be hot for this new guy'.. This attitude feels so much better.

Yeah the "I wanna be hot" feeling is a much better attitude I think! Don't get me wrong the whole showing your ex up is still a brilliant motivator! Mine was too look good for summer holidays because I was supposed to be going to Disneyland but that isn't happening anymore so I need to find a new motivator! =P because, lets be honest, health isn't always the ultimate motivator, I need vanity motivators as well.

Hey Ladies!  I'm back, sorry for missing last week.  I'll be honest, I really thought I was over the hump and then had another disappointing weigh-in, so I decided that after 6 months of reporting weekly in this challenge thread, I needed a break.  Here I am with another gain, but I'm okay with it.  I took a week off, and finished up another course at school and gardened and spent time with my kids and slept....and ate what I wanted.

I see there's still a few of us left - thank you for hanging in there and for the motivation/inspiration!

03/03/12:  185 (No change):  I have zig-zagged throughout February, which probably explains why I seem to be stuck.  Wouldn't call it a plateau since that would imply I doing everything right.  But at least I'm not gaining, and I know of some areas where I can make better choices.  Might not reach my Easter goal, but I'm still in the game.

Valentine's Day Goal: 185 (I didn't weigh in until four days later, but I made it to 185)

03/10/12:  182.6 (-2.4)  At last!  It has taken me five weeks to lose two pounds!  I've been stepping up my work-outs.  Since June 2011 I have lost 47.8 pounds, and I feel pretty darned good about that.

03/30/12:  181.2 (-1.4)  I did not meet goal but I lost 10.8 pounds this quarter.  Can't feel too bad about that.

I did weigh myself on Friday, but didn't get around to posting it 'til now.  0.6lb down...good enough for me!

House hunting is theoretically done - our offer was accepted (not the same house I mentioned last time - different area, way bigger house!), so now we need to jump through all of the legal hoops and have a favorable home inspection.  Assuming all is well, we get the keys on the 30th! :)  Everything is a little nuts right now, and I will be VERY thankful when we get through it all and just get back to living. Part of me wants to start packing lesser-used things now, but there's no point 'til after this week, when we'll know that everything pans out (or not).   Think happy thoughts, please! :D

Cyranda-Thanks for the boost :) I'm really loving adding the Brazil Butt Lift program to my routines. It's crazy but I like the feeeling when you've worked so hard you can't sit down the next day! I'm burning parts of my butt and thighs I didn't know I could get to! Hope you're still improving healthwise!!

Ok, so since I last posted, my husband and I took a little trip and I had been trying to lose beforehand (you know how it is!).  I did pretty well and I did not gain too much that weekend and I did not hold back.  I made sure to do a lot of walking and I was proud that I did not lose a lot of ground from that weekend.  Then my digital scale broke so I bought a cheap replacement that had me mistakenly thinking I was around 150 or so (analog).  I finally got my digital scale back early last week and saw that I was back up to 155!  I got my butt back in gear and am back down to 152 this morning.

Here's hoping that I can control myself around all that Easter candy that is about to take residence in my house!

Forgot to post my weight yesterday. I beat my Easter goal by 3.6 pounds! I'm very well pleased with my weight loss this year. Now for a summer goal!

I'm conservatively going for 1 pound a week for this goal. Since the weather is picking up nicely I will be ramping up my exercise and hopefully be able to lower that goal to 160.
