Anyone 5'6"? How much do you weigh?

I have been 5'6 my entire life but recently I someone measured me and I was told that I am 5'5.  This is very disturbing since I am 195 lbs.

I started calorie-count on July 22, did it for about 3 days and fell off.  I am starting again today.
I'm 5'6", will be 36 in a few weeks.

I started trying to get healthy last October when I was almost an even 200.  When I started CC at the end of January, I was at 185, now I'm at 159.

You really can do this!  :-)
I am 5'6 and weighed in at 135 this morning. One year ago I was 123 and I would at least like to get down to around 125 again.
I am 5'6.5" and will be 36 in a few months. I am currently 120 and small framed. I was 163 begining last year. I eat several times a day in little meals and I drink a ton of water.
I'm 5'6.5" too...228 as of this morning's weigh in!  I just turned 38.  So nope, not really around your weight...but will hopefully be there around the holidays!  :)  What size do you all wear?  I'm a 20/18 in the bottoms, 2xl or 24/26 in the top (just because I hate the material hugging my protruding stomach).
Im 5'6...current weight is 149...my highest was 240.

I know you feel discouraged and probably overwhelmed, but if you want to do this you CAN. There is a great community here to offer support and motivation, plus the tools are awesome.

Just remember, we all have days we 'fall off'....just have to try to get back to it :)

I am 5'6" - 1.5 years ago I was 223lbs - now I am around 167-8lbs. I have been on a huge plateau, but at least I am maintaining, not gaining! Shaking things up a bit with my work out routine and hope to hit that 150lbs mark in 3-4 months!

I'm 5'6'' and currently weigh 153lbs. At the beginning of July I was 160lbs.  My goal is to get down to atleast 135-140lbs.  I'm not tring to be too skinny. I like alittle meat on my bones haha.  Hopefully I can hit my goal by the end of September.
Started at 254 and now I am at 174.. It seems hard to get past this point!  I will be thrilled when I break thru to the 160's.
chocoholic4eva, I think you're my twin.  I weigh 153, at the beginning of July I was 158, and my goal is currently 140, but once I get there, I may re-set it for 130-135.

Im 5'6", 25 y/o. At 165 lbs, I was a size 12. Now at 142 lbs and size 10, Im almost done losing weight, and much happier with my stomach/hips. I think I'd feel "too skinny" if I went under 135, so my goal is 138-140 lbs, smack dab in the middle of "normal" BMI range for our height.

started at about 260, now i weigh 164 on a good day. :P

headed to 140. well, hopeing and trying for 140.

Hey I'm new to this site, but I am 5'6 and 195 was 200.  I use to be 120 but my teen model body when away when I got into drugs and booze.  When I quit I gained so much weight!!! HELP im fat now and can't get thin I did it once before and got to 120 the healthy way but its too hard now!  My husband is grossed out by me and I need emotional support! It would be great to have some buddies that like me for who I am!  I think the world should except big people!  I need motivation... :(
I'm 5'6" and currently around 133 pounds.  I started out at 162.  I'm small framed and am aiming to lose that last little bit and get to 125 (and STAY there!).
Hi!

I am 5'6, and 178.  Have fluctuated between 160 and 185 in my adult life, and am really upset to be getting closer to the top. Really trying to get under control, but having a hard time. It will be good to hear what others who are like me are up to... you people who have lost a lot really are inspiring. If others can do, I can, too, right?  I guess it is just about finding the truth and the strength...  Easier said than done, right?

Hi there.  I am 5'6" and 33 years old, weighing in at 191.8.  Wanting to loose alot of weight and coming here for support and to get to know others.  :) 


5'6" - 160 pounds - 28 years old.

I was 200 pounds at my heaviest in 2001.  Somehow I went down to 145 pounds - walking, cut out a lot of junk food.  But now I am back up to 160.

My goal is 125 pounds.  I want to start losing weight before my bithday in September and I want to lose all the weight before Christmas for the usual family reunions.

I am new and would love to make supe motivational friends. 
I am 38 yrs old and 5' 6". I weigh 154, trying to get to 140 at which time I may go for 135!
5'6" and 29 y/o

highest weight- 138 about 6 months ago- i had stopped exercising and felt awful (not because i thought i was overweight, just because i felt lazy)

lowest (as an adult)- 110 about 4 years ago

Current- 125 and pretty happy with it :)  Now I'm just trying to maintain and tone up a bit.
