Body Sculpting?? Sono Bello
I am looking into body sculpting at sono bello in the seattle area, starts at 3200 for "smaller areas" don't know what that means. I am 21, lost about 30 pounds in high school through being active, cutting out soda etc. I have been working out consistently and watching my calories for the last year (started at 134) in the hopes of losing the last few pounds, my goal is 115 and I'm 123 - 127 depending, I am sick of feeling like I'm working so hard for no results (I haven't lost since feb) and I am thinking of the body sculpting as, yeah, a quick fix.. I need some help, I feel like I should earn it and keep going with exercise but I sometimes feel like it's never enough, I am in a healthy BMI and I am 5'3" and I am pear shaped, I feel like just a quick lipo and I'll look amazing, I know most people here have far more pressing topics but I need opinions from someone other than my boyfriend of 3 years, all he has to say is that I'd look smoking If I did it, boys, they're so superficial but I guess so am I, I just need some motivation, thanks everyone in advance
Body sculpting is a personal choice. IMHO at your age, you should be able to exercise and tone things up naturally. By doing it yourself and not relying on lipo, surgery etc...you will gain more confidence and inner strength.
Actually I believe this for most everyone, with the exception of those who have exercised and toned up as much as possible and due to large amounts of weight loss have a great deal of excess skin.
I know you want to lose more, but at about 125 you're at an ideal weight and I'm sure you look amazing already. Seems like $3200 could be spent in much better ways than sucking fat out of your legs.. I'm not trying to be mean, I guess I would just always vote against liposuction, because I think it's unnecessary, and frankly kind of unnatural looking.
I cannot be sure about your specific situation, but I do know from experience that many people, including myself, cannot get rid of fat deposits in certain areas. I believe it is especially difficult for folks that were out of shape as children.
I used to be an overweight kid throughout junior high and high school. I sort of grew out of my "baby fat", stopped eating McDonald's and junk food, started drinking lots of water, eating small consistent portions of nutritious food and exercising nearly every day, and I feel great now. I am pretty skinny and mainly focus on building muscle, but no matter how toned I make the rest of my body, the area around my abs and love handles is consistently fatty. And trust me, I work hard at toning it.
It is ultimately your decision. From what you've said it sounds like we have similar body types, or histories, and I can tell you that certain areas will be very difficult to get toned and sculpted at the gym. That said, I am okay with my body and happy enough that I haven't gone the surgery route, but I guess time will tell.
