What celebrity or other person has your ideal body??? Please post pictures if you want!!

Quote  |  Reply

Is there a celebrity who you always find yourself scouring magazines for their latest pictures??? Or am I just a crazy stalker type person lol! Or do you think that your mother/sister/friend/father has a great body?? Preferably, please post a picture, but understandably your relative may not want their picture posted on the internet, so in that case, please describe!

For me, I love Rachel Bilson's weight and body type. She is petite like me, and very slim, but still has a gorgeous shape.

My more fantasical bodies include those of the Victoria Secrets' models. They are all honed and toned to perfection, but I know that the liklihood of ever looking anywhat like that are pretty non-existant. Oh well, a girl can dream!

In terms of more 'realistic' celebrities, I love the confidence and beauty, inner and outer, that America Ferrera just radiates.

Two words: Penelope Cruz.

She is GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! Everything about her: her body, her smile, her hair, her style. *sigh* I'd love to look just like her!

Cindy Crawford in her good ol' days (not that she's not gorgeous now!)

I want her body. Bad. And maybe a slight touch of Natalie Portman's abs in Star Wars.

Or even Jessica Alba. Healthy supermodels of the early 90s strike me the most, they're not super waif and have the proper woman's measurements.

Mind you I don't want to stick to pictures of celebrities... They're ALL airbrushed ;p

Yeah, Penelope Cruz is absolutely gorgeous!! I am always so jealous of her when I see her mascara ads for Loreal!! The thing that's great about her body is that she has curves, but they are amazing and she totally rocks them. Same with Salma Hayek. These Latina stars always seem to ooze body confidence!

I knowwwww, and I love that she always wears jeans that flare out, with like stilettos and a leather bomber jacket. So cute! And her hair always looks fabulous! And yeah, her body is so realistic; I mean, she doesn't look stick them, but her body is still bangin! Like, a lot of women have curves, but she has the perfect curves, ya know? Like, she's thin but in the right areas lol. I can't explain it, but I know you know what I'm talking about.

Oy, I sound like I need to get more sleep lol

I have been told that I look like Rachel McAdams and I'd love to have the body to go with it!

I like her body better in The Notebook and Wedding Crashers because it's very feminen and not anorexic! YAY FOR CURVES!

Sorry meg, those links didn't work! Yeah, I see what you're saying about Jessica Biel, she has a great body.

I've never actually seen Rachel McAdams in naything, but I just googled her there and she is stunning, so that's a great complement for you!!

Those are some really skinny women, unhealthy looking to me.  (Except America, of course) Penelope Cruz has lost lots of weight since going Hollywood.  In the mid-90's, she had a really nice figure and face but looks washed out these days.

My ideal is Marilyn Monroe.  http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3126/230235827 7_1751ed7079.jpg?v=0

Sure, Marilyn was beautiful, but in my opinion, she had a slightly idealised body as well. She was curvy, but her stomach in that picture looked far too flat to be realistic. Usually, you only find stomachs that flat on naturally skinny women, very few 'curvy' women have washboard abs. Therefore, I would say that that picture of Marilyn is airbrushed and that this picture - http://www.amoeba.com/dynamic-images/blog/Job /Marilyn-Monroe-oversized-postcard--.jpg - would be more realistic. Curvy women rarely never have an ounce of fat in the naturally fat carrying areas like stomach, ass and thighs. I really hate it when pictures of slightly heavier (but gorgeous) women are airbrushed so that we are lead to believe that even these more normal women do not have any fat in the normal areas.

Well, comparing those pictures and saying one is more accurate doesn't make a lot of sense.  They're taken years apart and the poses are quite different.  In the one I posted, looks like it was taken as a starlet around the time of The Asphalt Jungle ('52-53).  She's obviously sucking in her gut to pull back the string on the bow.   The one you posted looks like the time around 58-59, when she was married to Arthur Miller and had had at least one miscarriage (she was several months pregnant and suffered a miscarriage during the filming of Some Like it Hot).  She's just standing there too, no action.

She dramatically changed sizes in her short life.  However, I love her body in most phases.  She jogged, I believe she lifted weights and had a gorgeous figure.  She "looked" healthy, compared to the skinny, no-figure stars of today.

I agree with mrsdagle with all points made.  I miss marilyn beauty and am tired of victoria secret pressure/idealism.

curvy and no belly (and I can't believe you called Marilyn "heavier"- how bout healthy)

my celebrity dream is Angelina Jolie before she got crazy skinny after her mom's passing.  I feel that she embraces her curves, is fit, athletic and feminine.  I love see her embrace her pregnancy and still look stunning.  I also absolutely love her hair and wish I could make it mine.

She is drop dead gorgeous, no two ways about it. Tila Tequila is a cutie to. And Avril Lavigne (not a fan of her music though) has really matured into her looks in a good way.

I hate seeing "real" people (as in not celebrities) comparing themselves to celebs. If you have the money, trainer, personal chef/nutritionist, and get paid to look like that okay then.

I read a quote from Jessica Alba once about when she was on Dark Angel. Verbatim= She was talking about how "rock hard" her body was but she said she spent SO much time at the gym that she doesnt recommend that to anyone!

It's better to have a life than to focus on the perfection we see in the media, because looking good IS their life, but does it have to be ours?

PS- I can make us ALL look like Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz, Rachel Bilson.. etc.. with the help of one little program: PHOTOSHOP.

She was probably just sucking it in. lol. that was a common "technique" of the era.

That, and corsets.

kankan, I think Jessica looked a lot better back then.  She was rock hard but had some curves too, especially that cute face.  She's really thin these days (well, minus the baby weight).

For me, Sophia Bush is basically the definition of beauty. favoriteeeee.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
