So I am coming to the end of my journey.I at my worst weighed 310 lbs in october of 2010. I have pictures of some of my different weights in my profiles photo gallery if anyone was interested, the black and white one being my highest at about 285 lb and the one with the sweater at 265. My most recent pics are at 198 and 196 lbs.
I told myself I was going to stop at 185, At that point I have reached my goal of 125 lbs lost. after that I am on to maintaining and fat loss. (currently considering the p90x for an after program) Either way I am fairly happy about what I am accomplishing and what I have already accomplished but I am a little "scared' I guess is the best word to describe it.
In about a month which is when I expect to be about 185, judging by how things have stayed steady for the last 5 months. and I am going to have to make a major change to my eating habits. because I do not want to change my exercise habits. and I do not know if calorie count will be the same.
Having reached my goal will I still be able to use the camp dashboard and what not. Not to say I rely on the dashboard and the food analysis chart but I kinda like making the lists and seeing the green tabs pop up when you hit 100% of vit. A or Vit C ect... Sometimes it helps me keep full track of my intake and what I am lacking.
Either way, I guess I just want to know. or be told that after I have reached my goal there is still this site and it's supporters and the people that have helped me. I have so many to thank for all their kind wishes. In all honestly these last few months have been the end but I never would have been able to get into the best health of my life without everyone and everything this site has offered me.
If for anything I just want to say thank you, calorie counters, Truly.
Well done! From one sci-fi avid reading geek to another, you look great and have done brilliantly! x
Grats! Such a great accomplishment! :D
Wow!! Thats a huge accomplishment!!! Congratulations, you are my hero. Good luck :)
Congratulations, great job, bestwishes and good health to you!
Calorie count definitely is still there when you reach maintenance. Personally, I've found that even when I'm where I want to be, my weight still fluctuates, there are good and bad days, and it definitely still helps me stay accountable and know what to focus on (there is always room for improvement). Congratulations on such a huge accomplishment! Having people like you here is what makes this site such a success!
That is really awesome. SO happy for you. I am amazed at what you have done, and know that you can maintain it and will still be able to use CC. The site is designed to help people loss, maintain, and even gain weight. You just need to revisit your profile and make some adjustments if I'm not mistaken.
