Hello, I have been on CC for about 2 and a half years. I've gone up and down on weight, even finally reaching my goal in May! But I have lost track of myself since then, and I want to get back on track TODAY. I've been part of lots of groups and they start out great but then people eventually stop showing up. I know I need more consistent and frequent motivation than that, so for THIS group, I want to check in EVERY DAY. That means a daily weigh in and update on how we're doing, highs and lows, etc. I'm sure there are at least one or two others out there who could use this kind of structure. Can't wait to meet you!

Monday July 12th-- 142.6 lbs

Where I'm at: After finally FINALLY reaching my goal of 135 in late May, I have really been slacking in every sense so it's no wonder I put 7.6 lbs back on. I know some of it will be water weight cause I've been eating a lot of processed food and not drinking enough water, so hopefully I can drop a few of those pounds fast.

The plan: Today I am going to drink TONS of water and eat only whole foods. Also going to take both dogs on nice long walks and hit the 4 pm weight lifting class which I love. I want to continue this plan through the week... going camping Sunday-Wednesday so I need to lock these new habits in before I'm in the woods with nothing to do but eat and nap.

Bad weekend...... back up to 150.0 today............. YUCK, get back on it today!

Still stuck at 181.

Plan for today is to drink lots and lots of water and be back in the 170s by the end of this week.

Don't get discouraged - sometimes it takes days for the scale to show your progress.  I'm learning this and teaching myself not to obsess about the number.  Keep at it, tired.  : )

I don't know if it's too late to join this group but I'm hoping it is :)

I've been trying to lose weight over the last few months after gaining 40 pounds after having surgery.  I'm 22 and 152 pounds (5 foot 2).  I'm just looking to get some help and some motivation and this seems like a good place to start.

 

So..if it's ok,

Weight today: 152 pounds...eating healthy and exercise started today!

...Currenly trying to maintain 125 - 130 until I can work my heart out during the summer. :)

@tired: sometimes muscles retain some water after a workout....maybe that's what's happened in you case...if so then no need to worry for it comes off fast too :)

I'm at 178.5 today. Must be all the water I drank yesterday. Whatever the reason, I'll take it! :)

My scale says 149 today...crazy, I did alot of exercise yesterday though and drank alot of water, plus I just started to I think you're supposed to lose a bunch in the beginning and then even out...nonetheless, am happy with that!

I'm still weighing 190.  I have to get on the ball and lose this weight.  I went to the store today and bought my low calorie foods and I'm ready now. 

I have to share with you all that tomorrow I'm going with my daughter to get her ulrtrasound to find out if shes having a boy or girl!  We are very excited!

You all are doing so great, I'm jealous!  LOL

@target -- sorry the fluctuation is getting to you. keep on track and things will come around.
