Non-Food Rewards
What are folks doing to keep motivated?
I weigh myself every day. When I'm below 150 for three consecutive days (probably in another week or two) I will go get a mani/pedi. I'm thinking of rewards for the 145 mark and the 140 mark!
I set up reward points on my profile. The gap between gets smaller and smaller because as I get closer to my goal, it will take longer to lose the pounds I expect. I don't choose the reward until I get within a few pounds of my goal as my needs / wants change.
My first reward was a food reward because there was a new restaurant in town, but it had many healthy options so it was okay.
My second reward (4 lbs away) - I have picked out a shirt at the gym that I really like by Lole. I just hope it doesn't sell before I get there.... :)
I'm getting a new piercing once I hit my goal weight. It's keeping me motivated!
Good idea mkerdmann. I've been thinking about getting a new tattoo or expanding my current one. I'll save that for my goal weight!
Clothes! Always clothes.
Pretty panties for every 10 pounds a new bras for every 20 pounds.
Bought a groupon for a spa, massage, body wrap, facial. Can't use it til I lose 7.5 more pounds.
