I'm down!!!!

I'm so in!

I'm in! It's no so much cafeteria food for me. More about eating lots of unhealthy snacks when I'm preparing for my essays because I'm sat with a load of books for ages!

I am definitely in! My stats are 5'5 160 pounds 19 years old/Junior class

Would like to lose 15 by April

I've lost 5 in a month which is considered "healthy" hopefully I can keep it up

Weekends are the hardest for me

Let me know about your goals and stats! We can all help one another!

I don't know if I need to lose quite 10 lb, but I am in!!

Hello! I would love to join a group like this. I'm 21 and in my 3rd year. I know what I should and should not be eating and I generally eat well for main meals. Unhealthy snacking and an inability to refuse and ignore food (especially baked goods) are my weaknesses, as well as a constant lack of sleep resulting in my feelings of being "too tired" (aka too lazy) to work out.

I am 5'2, f, 132 lbs. I lost 5 lbs before the holidays but it has come back. I would also like to lose 10 lbs by April!
Oops, I meant 15 lbs by April, similar to sarob2! However, I feel like 10 might be more realistic for my size. My ultimate goal is my pre-college weight of 118, however I had a lot of muscle at that size so perhaps a lighter weight will make more sense, depending on how much muscle I have.
Hi ! I'm 21, and a 4th year university student.

I'm 5'4 and currently 139 lbs (down from 148). I would like to lose 5 lbs for the short term! I love the idea for this thread :)
Hi Bridget,

How have you lost your first 9 lbs? Any helpful tips for us? How short term are you trying to lose 5 lbs? I am trying to lose 5-7 lbs by March 21st and would love to hear what has worked for you.

Tomorrow, Valentine's day, I will begin the low carb diet. I will be consuming roughly around 1200-1300 calories per day, lots of protein, but >40g of carbs.

Quick tip is to have your lunch/dinner/snack prepared before you head out. That way when you get home or to your dorm, you already have your meal ready which prevents you from eating other junk. Drink lots of water. Do HIIT (high intensity interval training). Sprint 30 seconds, walk for 90 seconds, repeat over time. Have each day dedicated to a body part for weight training (ex. Mon for arms, tues, abs, and so forth.)

I wish you all the best of luck! Hope we all return in a couple of months with our new bodies! Yayy!

Good luck everyone <3333

Hi ! I've lost the first 9 lbs by going to the gym 3-4 times per week. I've increased my cardio ability quite a bit in the past 8 weeks. I run on the treadmill for 30 mins each time I go, and I also do strength training.

I began using CC, which made me realize how many cals I was eating before. The combo of exercise and eating well has gotten me to the size I was at highschool graduation. I eat about 1500 cal per day and drink lots of water!

I'd love to be 134 by April 1st, but May 1st may be more realistic!

I'm 21 it's also my junior year I'm 5'4" and 140 pounds (I've lost 4 in the last two weeks) My biggest problem is definitely the weekends!!!! I want to go out with my friends but between drinking and late night fast food it does not end well for my diet. Also during the week I'm so busy with school homework sorority equestrian team I don't have time to really pig out its during the weekends when I'm not at busy when all I want to do is eat -____-

I eat about 1200 a day. Lift about 4 times a week and do cardio 5/6 days.

Yes! I'm 128 now and I'd love to be 118 by mid march:) I was 120 in August right before college too! I've been good with my workouts but it's so hard to resist all the late night pizza, and weekends def kill my diet! I need willpower;(

I am in! I graduate in May and I would so like to look fabulous while walking across that stage! It so hard to see all of the tasty campus food and avoid it! I have been going good for a week and am starting to get weak from all the amazing smelling pizza and chinese! I need some group help :)

I am 5'7", my starting weight last week was 175, Today I was 170 and I would like to lose 10 pounds by march, with a total goal of 150 by May!

Lets do this guys!!

Hi everyone. I'm a second year University student. 5'5 and about 147-148 lbs. Looking to get to 126 eventually, but I like the idea of being around 140 by April. I've lost 7lb since January.

Hi all!

I am wondering what you guys think about the "no eating past ___pm" rule. Since I usually don't go to bed until 1am, not eating after 6pm just doesn't make sense! What guidelines do you guys usually/try to follow? I'm thinking 2 hours before bedtime is a good rule to adopt.

Hi Becca! Your definitely right, if your active and not sleeping until 1 am.. 6pm is definitely too early to stop eating! I try not to eat at least 3 hours before bed, but I'm sure everyone is different :)
I find the 6pm rule to be useless to me. One night I'll pass out at 8 and the next night not till 3am so each night is different for me. I try not to eat atleast an hour or two before bed because I personally don't like sleeping on a full stomach. However I've done some research and as long as its healthy food it doesn't really matter when you eat it before you sleep.

Good to know! I stopped eating for the most part 2 hours before bedtime last night but was snacking on carrots until about 30 minutes before hand.

Is anyone else going on a beach spring break trip? I have to wear a bathing suit in 5 weeks and am so nervous. My goal is to lose at least 5 lbs by then!

I'll be in havasu for my spring break aka bikini mandatory. But I have till mid march till break. So I have at least 30 days to lose some weight and gain some muscle.
