I've gone from XL to M
I just realized.
I might not have lost a lot of weight, but only now I realized how much fat I must have lost. I bought some new clothes yesterday, and the shorts I bought are M. Medium! I haven't worn medium since I was what, thirteen?!
I am so happy I could cry! Just wanted to share it with someone who can understand what a big deal it really is! ~
Great Job !
Excellent! Oh, what a feeling, right!
Yay!
Congrats!!!:)
Well done!! You must be so proud right now and good for you you should be its a big achievment :) x
That's amazing! I'm so happy for you! However, being new here, I really don't understand that concept of losing fat but not weight?
Thank you guys! ;A; <3
buffalobelle: Well, I'm honestly not sure either, all I know is that I have lost very little weight on the scale, but lots of inches... :'D When I've asked here on calorie count why this might be, most people have told me it's because I have gained muscle (I started lifting weights, and I'd never done that before) and then later kept the muscle, "switching" fat out with muscle (or really building muscle, losing fat, and then keeping muscle and losing fat). And then there's the fact that I used to never drink water, but now I drink lots, and... Well, I've just not lost that much weight. xD Who knows why! Weightloss is a lot different from person to person. Even when I was pretty skinny I was at a higher weight than someone else the same size (I blame muscles for this? I'm not sure though).
I don't know if this is legit though, you should probably ask someone who is more educated on this than me :-)
i've been wondering this... How long did it take you to drop down from XL - Large? then Large to Medium?
Thanks
That I am not sure. I wore XL around Christmas, and I didn't really buy any clothes from winter until now, so I just wore clothing that were way too big a while... xD I'd say I was a large in the middle of spring though, if I have to guess. So, 6 months total? I guess. :-)
Tres cool! Hope you are enjoying your lovely monster...losing weight, but having to spend money for new clothes.
In 15 months, I've gone from 4x+ to 2x-, so I know the sensation quite well. And being headed for M myself, there may be a few tears from this corner before it's all said and done.
In fact, if I put on the same pants I wore when I started my diet, I can now hold them out in front of me like one of those "before and after" weight-loss ads, as I've lost nearly a foot from my waist. On the surface, it's great to see the results with your own eyes, but your emotional side is where it really hits home, and where it means more than you can imagine.
Outstanding!
Awesome! Congratulations!
Congratulations on your accomplishment! :) It's such a good feeling. It's so unbelievable to think that my typical size now is a size medium in junior sizes. It makes me feel so average (in a good way, if you know what i mean.)
Congratulations!
I know exactly how you feel! I did actually cry when i fit into a smaller size. I never thought I would...it's the most amazing feeling. but there's still miles more to go...
good for you! great job!
good for you! great job!
It's a brilliant feeling, i'm now in 36" inch waist trousers for the first time in years (was in 44" last Septemeber). Couldn't get the smile off my face when i walked out of the shop a real feeling of acheivement :-)
Once again well done you!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! The reward is buying new clothes!!! I have gone from 3X to M in 11 months. IT is a wonderful feeling. Still a bit unreal, isn't it?
That has to feel fantastic!! You give me courage to keep going.
Enjoy those MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMs!
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
