Hello everyone ; Iam a 22 year old girl , 170 cm and weight 83 Kg ,, i NEEd to lose 9 kilos by july 1st and i need motivation ! ;( , cuz iam starting to lose the interest . who else wants to reach such a goal? We will weigh in once a week and report to each other how did each day go , and help stoppin each other from getting off the track ! :)

Scale has not budged.  I am happy it did not go up, though.  Have been slacking on workouts.  Made up for it today.  Will have to go back to doing morning workouts, at least then I have no excuse later in the day.  Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm in! My weight has been slowly creeping up above 150, and I'm now at 156. I'd love to lose 15-20 pounds and be able to fit into my clothes again. I don't want to buy bigger clothes, but I'm running out of things to wear. I'm going to a wedding on June 22nd and would love to feel good about the way I look in a dress. I just joined a few days ago and I hope this will help keep me on track. I'll post my weight next Wednesday--I'm motivated to be negative a couple of pounds!

Hey, where is everybody? It's weight in day again! Don't be discouraged if the scale doesn't say what you want it to. That's why we're all here, to encourage each other even during setbacks.

I lost 3.5 pounds this week! It feels good to know I'm eating healthier and it feels even better to get that workout in the morning. It just makes me feel better about myself all day knowing that even if I don't my walk in that evening at least I had a good run in the morning and I can't call myself lazy anymore!

Down 1 lb. Hoping for better results next week as i've been exercising every day & lifting weights, keeping the calorie intake at or below my target. I feel like I need to jump start things somehow!Smile

 

OK gang, we have 8 more Wednesdays until July 4th! If we do 1lb a week that will be 8 lbs maybe even 10lbs! Some may do more some may do less as long as your number goes down.Smile

It's probably more towards 136lbs because I weighed myself after lunch. In any case, I'm looking to lose around 10lbs by July 4th... which means 1lb a week. Heading on vacation so that's going to be hard, but good luck to me!

I like your attitude! I was a little disappointed with a 1 lb loss, but looking at it the way you do puts it in perspective. I'll still try for more than 1 lb a week, but I'll be very happy if I've lost even 8-10 lbs by July 1!

I'm 5'3", 151lbs at last weigh in (2 weeks ago, since I'm scared of the scale) and my goal weight is 130lbs. 21 year old female.

According to my BMI I should aim for 120 but if I go below 128 or so I start to look and feel pretty unhealthy. I'm in decent shape (I walk 3km about 3 times/week, and mix it up with pushups, ab wheel. Looking to expand into cardio but have no idea how). I'm chalking it up to having a solid and pretty compact frame naturally and sticking to 130 where I feel my best.

Hi, cforshaw! New members are definitely still welcome! I think it's great that you pay attention to what your body tells you and don't aim for a weight below what feels healthy for you. BMI is really just a guideline and doesn't take muscle mass into account. It's not a perfect tool for everybody.

As for myself, I forgot to post yesterday, so here are may weigh in stats for this week:

Current: 158

Goal: 135

Height: 5'6"

Lost another 3 pounds this week for a total of 10.5! I'm so excited to finally be under 160 again. I hope I can be under 150 by July. It'll be the first time in 2 years. I'm hoping to keep the good diet and exercise up this time to finally reach my goal weight of 135. I don't even remember the last time I was under 140. I think I was in middle school :/

I forgot to mention, my start weight was 155lbs, when I started using this website. 169 was my highest :(
