How to lose 35 lbs in 3 months !

Quote  |  Reply
I lost 35 lbs. in 3 months by excersizing, eating right, and tracking everything I do.

I excersized 6 days a week for 1 and a half hours. I would a stationary bike with a little bit more resistance each day with a sweater on to sweat more . Then I would jump rope for 15 minutes with a speed rope. Then I would run a few blocks and come back home to recover. After , I would eat a banana and drink a protein shake. (I had Whey Protien). And after all that I would go to football practice.

I am a female . And yes! I do play football . It was harder for me to lose this weight than my teammates and i did have to work harder. But in the end It felt good to finish a goal !

My diet consisted of absolutely NO CARBS, and a lot of Protien . Breakfast for me would be : a glass of orange juice to boost my metabolism , 2 egg whites , and a Special K Protien bar. Then lunch would be: a Protien burger ( a patty with cheese wrapped in lettue) with or w/o tomatoes or onions, a 0 calorie Gatorade and a Babybell cheese . And finally , dinner : a steak (cooked anyway you want) with a salad and water with a shot of Mio. (a 0 calorie water flavoring) .

I tracked all of these things in my journal . I wrote down what excersize I did and how many calories I burned . And tracked how many calories I consumed . And then subtracted it and that was my average for the day . And then I wrote down how I felt after working out and eating good . And my self esteem levels .

By the end of these 3 months I weighed 137 and I lost more than my goal was ! try this and let me know how it works for you ! Good luck !

You do realize that there are carbs in orange juice, special K bars, lettuce, cheese, salad, etc.

^ what smashley said. But congratulations on your loss anyway :)
You realize regardless less carbs and more exercise won the weight loss. Does it really matter to mention the Carb Comment? Woot Woot!!! Hope you lost more and getting in shape. Don't be jealous people. :). Be motivating!!

One it's not less carbs; it's fewer carbs.  Less is for things you can't quantify: if I had less clutter on my desk, then I would have been able to find the papers.

Two, exercise has almost nothing to do with weight loss.  Exercise affects overall health, fitness, and body composition, but it has practically no effect on weight loss. Weight loss comes from eating less than you burn.

It's great that he lost 30lbs.  No one is saying otherwise, but why perpetuate carb hating myths?  Why would he say that lost weight eating no carbs when most of the things he listed had carbs.

One: If you're going to be so concerned about wording, let's also concern ourselves with paying attention to the post.  Instead of "he", the poster is a "she".

Two: You're saying exercise has almost nothing to do with weight loss but instead it's about eating less than you burn.  Where does that burning come from? Mine seems to come from exercise.

Moving on...great job, HarleyReyes!
