Must Have Been Possessed by an Alien . . .
Totally no disrespect meant for extraterrestrials, but I did something out of this world--or at least out of my comfort zone--this morning: AEROBICS!!!
OK, so I know this may not be earth-shaking, but when you weigh 245 pounds like I do and all you've done so far over the past 3 months are some stretches, yoga, and slow walking, an hour of dancing around and sweating a lot seems major!
I've been down in the dumps a bit--a plateau, money woes, blah, blah, blah--and I decided to (literally!) shake things up after my daily stretches, and I FEEL GREAT!!
I think I found those ENDORPHINS (or whatever the heck the feel good after exercise chemicals are)!
Whoo hoo! I actually think I could do this again . . .
. . . and to those who are having a hard time getting active, just know that if I can do it, YOU can do it!!!

Way to go! Watch out, once you start you may not be able to

Those endorphins are great aren't they. Gives you a bit of energy as well as some self pride that "hey... I can do that and it's good for my health too!" Way to go!

It sure is great finding the endorphins and your legs will work tomorrow!! Great job, keep it up! :)
if you haven't done aerobics before and you're concerned about mobility later, make a point of stopping to gently stretch your legs periodically throughout the day. I've been doing that since I took up running-otherwise I'd be stranded on the main level of my house. lol XD
Way to go! I need to get back into the habit of working out. You have motivated me. I think I am going to try my work out video tomorrow! :)
