Please! I need some friendly motivation!

Quote  |  Reply

I have been eating very healthy for about a month now. I usually eat 1000-1200 calories a day (I do not work out and pretty sedentary, so I think it's a reasonable amount). I felt so good in the beginning, but last two day was a mess. Yesterday I had about 2500 cals :( I really want to get back on track, I do. But I need some motivation, I feel like I am losing it. Also, I do not see any major difference on my "in process" pictures, I understand it's only been a month, but I expected more. Does it seem like I have lost anything?

Please, I need some support.

Here is the picture of me before and in process. Attention: UGLY UNDERWEAR.

you definitely have lost! your tummy looks amazing now! how much have you lost?

you should try to get to 1200cals a day though because 1000 is unhealthy and depriving you. That's why you feel the need to binge.

Keep up the good work you look stunning!

u have lost weight, definitely. ur tummy is flatter, the axillary fat (ha fancy name for annoying bits) is not apparent now,and ur face looks slimmer. keep up the good work. for a month, it rocks! i spent a lot more time to reach results like urs. dont punish urself too hard. just brush it off and keep going. unless u eat 7000 kcals worth of food, u wont gain a kg of fat. when u binged u'll only retain water...i'm sure u know that, u'll still look slimmer.

Thank you so much :) I really needed to hear that. I have no idea how much I have lost, on some reason I am afraid to weight myself. The scales are right there, but I decided to to step on them until I like what I see in the mirror.

And yeas, I am going to stay at steady 1200 cal per day.

You look great! I wish my tummy looked like that! Anyway, just increase cal intake a bit. You don't mention a reason for not working out, but that will give you increased results.

Stick with it, you are doing well!

To speed up some weight loss (which come on who doesn't want faster results and a little tonage?) why don't you try walking at least four days a week for 30 mins? That way you can up your calories a bit and get some muscle.

Also just from personal experience, when I upped my calories I found I lost MORE weight. I also exercise a lot, but dang in 2 weeks any extra just kinda slipped off me. And I was able to enjoy extra chocolate!

You look great!  Heck, if I could do that in a month, I'd probably be more motivated myself!  I just started my reduced-calorie intake yesterday and already feel defeated, but if all you're doing is controlling your intake with a sedentary lifestyle similar to mine, it really helps me by giving me something to look forward to.  Thanks for proving it can be done!

hey.it seems that your diet is working!

Good result gives your more motivations as what I wrote in my journals.

I think you really have to find a good motivation to lose weight. It makes everything easier! So do find one.

I'm doing diet, meds, massage slimming oil,and some sports for losing weight.and it works really good till now.

Let's encourage each other!!!

You have definitely lost weight - esp from your tummy, waist and hips. It always gets harder to resist temptation as time goes on but if u try to drink instead of eat I find it helps. Also if you;re not very active then just always remember to take the stairs instead of the lift or maybe get off a stop early and walk home (if get bus/tube). But seriously i can see a huge difference in only a month! Keep going :)
