Need extra help and support? Join me in the battle to lose those pounds! No goal weights for this group…just a determination to lose.Post your weigh-in on THURSDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY!!!YOU CHOOSE!!

GET INVOLVED!!!  Each Sunday we will be presenting a mini-challenge for all participants to take part in. You might have to post your favorite snack under 100 calories or tell everyone the nicest compliment you have recieved so far.  Message me with your ideas and recieve honorable mention as the week's BIGGEST SCHMOOZER!

This group is all about keeping that postitive attitude throughout your journey. It doesn't matter if you are just starting out or are maintaining, everyone needs someone to lean on now and then. So SCHMOOZE & LOSE with your friends and stay motivated!

WHAT TO EXPECT (GUIDELINES):

  1. This is a 10 week motivational group. If you feel you cannot endure the full 10 weeks, message me and let me know so the rest of the team doesn't hound you.
  2. You must post a Start and Finish weight. If you're not up to posting your weight on certain weeks, that's fine. This is all about staying motivated. 
  3. Mini-challenges will be posted on Sunday. Every participant is required to complete the weekly challenge. If you do not, the rest of the team will be notified and we will message you friendly reminders until you take part.
  4. Feel free to use this group as a place to express yourself -  fears, frustrations, worries, goals, triumphs, successes. We are here to support and motivate one another, whether you're doing great or stuggling.

wow iv never done that b4...measured my self i mean wow thats a big difference.

b:water.........ok i hvnt stuck to my goal verry well b4 i went away id been drinking about 1.5 liters a day which is 1 less than id aimed 4! oops.

C: iv signed up for s&l 2....i see that alot of people have..lilly ur gonna have a tough job keeping track of off these people!

i was reli dissapointed that i put on weight at the very last weigh in.... but 8lbs is still a good weight loss amount i would have liked to be up there with jigglethehandle and pocha but we have another 10 weeks to try again.thanks for everything lily and every1  c u in s&l 2 x

A. Measurements - I'm so not posting them since I've gained everything back and then some!!  If I were in the weight gain forum I'd be kicking some serious butt! haha

B. Water, water, water - Never a problem for me I'm always drinking a gallon

C. S&L II - I'm all signed up! I hope I do better next time around

Chest: 41.25 to 40.5 = -0.75"
Waist: 39.75 to 38 = -1.75"
Hips:46.5 to 45 = -1.5"
Upper Arm: 14.0 to 13.5 = -0.5"

PART B: Water - Doing alright - drinking 10-12 cups for sure, but was hoping for more. I'm just not as good ont he weekends as I am during the week. I know, I'm a slacker - ha ha

PART C: S&L II - I'm pretty sure I'm automatically signed up, aren't I? lol

Who would have thought that 9.2 pounds could make such a difference in my waistline! I LOVE doing measurements. They really help keep you aware of the changes you body is undergoing...even when the scales aren't moving!!

Well, I'm keeping it around 138 and I left the 135 goal behind. During summer there is no time for me sit in front of computer. Gym is the only thing that keeps me in the mode and surprisingly "CC" mind. I eat pretty well. Not gaining is great for me. And once everyone goes back to school I can push it little forward if my body agrees. Oh I forgot to look at the challenge.....I'll edit this or get back to you later. Thanks Lily for reminder.

It was smaller everywhere but it can be by the position of measurement. I work out like crazy and my butt went through a makeover. I feel all over tighter.

Water....well.... I cannot keep the system going. It is random. I guess I'm not doing that well. I drink a lot during and after workout though and also at work. I hope I can make it to Zumba in the morning since I have to go get my teeth cleaned. It is quite addictive.

a)measurements: Not sure how much I trust the numbers. I'm never good at making sure to remember exactly where I had the tape positioned but it looks good to see numbers shrinking! So I'll take it!

b)water: I'm not doing as well as I'd hoped but still getting 8-10 glasses most days. Unfortunately on the days I don't get 8-10 I'm closer to 3-4. Need to remain consistant and try to get more water in during the day instead of having most in the evenings.

3 pounds lost and 2.5 inches of belly fat! the belly fat makes all the difference in the world! regarding how i feel about how slow this is all moving, cuz 2.5 is significant! yeah. 

water is fine most days, as usual. 

and my personal update/checkin for the week: my trip was great. i ate very oddly. i dont like beans, and they are the primary veggi protein at such events. by the eve of day three, i realized i was protein low and was trying to compensate with volume and sugar. dont eat much sugar at home, but do eat a variety of meats. so. that was an interesting challenge, but one i apparently survived just fine. got at least 30 minutes of stretching/mobility exercises in each morning and 20 to 45 minutes of walking in daily, so my exercise minutes are high for the week. and im all calm and chilled out Cool how sweet is that. bliss monkey! 

lilly, i hope you'll have the "pamper/cherish/celebrate yourself" mini challenge again, that was a good one! as was the measuring! omg!

FYI: we have lost a total of 130.4 pounds - like losing an entire size 6 woman from our group!! or an adult male mountain lion. In terms of feeding someone 2000 calories a day...they will avoid hunger for 7 months and 18 days!

For those of you continuing on with S&L II, I will see you there tomorrow. And for those of you continuing on your own I wish you happiness, success and long lasting healthiness! You are all amazing!
