and i do mean short term, i am thinking daily goals... post them here!

dude, it's only, like, 11:30 here, dude.

nah, I just got done running.  had bbq and had to digest it, but heck if i was gonna eat strawberry shortcake and then NOT run!
i just got done with that darn stair stepper. that thing kills after hiding it my closet for 2 months. grr.

but for 20 minutes it burns 248 calories. so whaduya know. that's dandy.

To do SOME KIND of cardio today.  I haven't done any since Saturday, and I'm soooo tired!  I did yoga on Monday, though--does that count? Anyway, my muscles hurt, so I need to move them! :)

I *will* go to pilates on monday! 
Get all the plants that I bought over the month planted.  Not just watered and kept on life support!!!! :)  Oh and pull more weeds out of the garden.  That should do well for exercise today, since the heat index here is going to be over 100.  Don't worry drinking lots of water and will not be out in it after 11am.  :)  But it is already pretty hot out  right now at 8:37am.     
  • drink at least 80 oz of water
  • eat at least 1300 calories
  • do Jillian Michaels workout today
  • do 30mins of arms and abs tonight
  • clean out flower shed and plant last rose bush
  • put laundry away
For today:

-keep sodium under 1500
-drink 8 glasses of water
-walk (or rather stroll because it's the best I can do for now) for at least 30 minutes
-have 8 servings of vegetables and fruits
-tend my planters and rake weeds for at least 30 minutes

I'll do my walking at the grocery store.  I take an extra turn around all the aisles to make up the time.  I do better when I'm holding on to something, either a shopping cart or my rollator walker.
For today:

1) giving blood today... so I can't work out :(
2) eat recomended amt of protein
3) avoid the brats that my husband is cooking tonight!!!
(mmm, brats with mustart... I don't know if I'm going to pull that one off!)
okay, today's goals accomplished, though my salad could've been bigger... need to go to the market tomorrow! oh, well there is goal number one for tomorrow!

1) buy the makings for a giant salad!

2) run 9 miles.

3) buy shoes to go with my dress for saturday night!

4) crunch and lunge!!
What a day....I had a huge temtation to have Mexican food...YUM my fav. But nope I stuck to my Smart One. So for tonight my goal will be not to eat too much. I need to loose 1.5 by friday. My goal by June 30th, I know these are short term but I really want to be down to 157, right now I am 161.5..don't you hate those .5 pounds?!
redxties- you dont need to be doing that do you????  Really?  probably need to gain some weight instead after looking at your profile and seeing that you have anorexia listed among other things in your interest, I would say talk with a dr.
Since we are hoping to day trip it to Minneapolis tommorrow my short term goal for tommorrow is to go thru and entire day of eating out, while still maintaining my calorie goal of about 1600. Since we are planning to to go MOA (Mall of America), I have a feeling I will get plenty of walking in.
  1. stick to good carbs and protein tomarrow ( I was trying to be good and get more calories today, but I need to stay away from those bready carbs still--even if they're "whole grain"
  2. get up early tomarrow and get some good exercise
  3. drink 4 liters (of water :) :)  )
  4. do strength training and some elliptical at the gym at night
love being able to check things off my list... i found great shoes yesterday, ran 9 miles, bought stuff for that giant salad, and did a few crunches and lunges yesterday...

today i will:
