Hello C.C world =] i started a one month challenge forum in April and now its time for a new one! everyone did really well so i couldnt wait to start up again! everyones welcome! Hey Val, thanks for starting this! I'm in for sure :)  Today I'm 135, hoping to be at 129 by June 12.  I went to a fitness class today, AND was totally sugar-free all day, so I feel like I'm starting off on the right foot.

I think I'll do better this time. No food-related holidays! Plus boot camp is in full swing now and if I eat badly before it, I feel like throwing up. I want 150's back. 

 

I just want to point out ahead of time that if I do lose weight really quickly, it may be because not all of what I'm carrying is fat. I'm still in denial that I gained ten pounds over Easter. :P Anyways, it's not because I have an eating disorder or anything, if it does happen.

So, I'm going to use two scales throughout. Mine (SC1) and my mum's (SC2). I think my mum's is more accurate, so I'll probably use that in my official logbook but I have more access to mine (and I like the number more!) so I'll include it as well, lol.

Welcome everyone! im so happy to be starting another challenge! it gonna be rough for me to get to the gym the next 2 weeks but after im done with school. i play on exercising like a maniac. Im gonna do funn things to help me lose weight. i wanna hit the batting cages twice a week and roller blade every where i go =]  i really need some spice in my workouts. maybe try some zumba and hot yoga!!! ive been eating really great and im startin to feel awesome!!! hope you all had a good weigh in today!

 

I'm not sure what a reasonable goal is for the next month as I just started, so I'm just doing this to see what I can achieve in my first month. Hope you all don't mind!

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie. I've never even participated in a forum before really. All I know is I've gained at least 10 lbs recently and it's been hard on my body, mind, and self-esteem. Maybe the support of a community will be just the push I need.

I'd like to join as well. I am also fairly new and have never participated in a forum challenge before- like gypsy. (Ahhhh I can't believe I'm actually doing this! So excited! haha) I always start out great and then lose motivation very quickly. So I'm hoping I'll be more likely to keep on track if I'm part of a group and weigh in twice a week. I want to make a lifestyle change, so I'm trying to go at a slower weight loss rate.

Great to see so many new people - welcome folks! I definitely think having a group all trying to achieve something similar is helpful. I love that kind of support. It's so nice to break up this long-term process into  one-month chunks as well.

Hoping the scale looks OK tomorrow morning - I went out for nachos and margaritas last night. I tried really really hard to keep it as low-cal as nachos and margaritas can be - just one drink, and then I switched to water. The nachos were shared so it's kind of hard to measure how much I ate. I was trying to go slow but ... I guess today will be a salad day :) It was great to get out to a patio with friends either way.

I'm SO in! I'm doing the Dukan Diet and hoping to make some serious results happen this month.

You're so right, support and one month chunks should help a lot. Tortilla chips are my weakness. I know they always say to keep 'em off the table but really?!

I know I'm not supposed to let one weigh-in freak me out too much, but UGH!! I shouldn't be surprised since I ate out on Saturday, ordered Mexican food with friends last night and haven't exercised since Saturday AM. Yesterday morning I was 135 so I'm hoping I'm just holding onto a whole lot of water weight. I've got a water and fiber-filled day ahead so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope everyone had wonderful weekends and the scales are good to you this morning!

I'm with you prettylady; I went out with my friends on Friday and we ended up staying out the entire day and indulged in chinese and waffles (A LA MODE, of course) and smoothies ahhh. Not to mention it's been raining this entire weekend so I didn't really want to go outside, thus getting no exercise as well. O well, gotta do better this week.

Hi! I'd also like to be a late-joiner if ya'll don't mind!! I need some accountability twice a week! By June 12th, I'd like to be 139. I'm 5'4 so my ultimate goal right now is 130.. Not positive I'll be compltely content there but right now, I'm still amazed i finally made it into the "healthy BMI" zone.
