Snacking...

Quote  |  Reply

Ok i know EVERYONE has trouble with either late night snacking or just snacking in general. Snacking is good in low quantity and with a smarter choise of snack. But does anyone know of some smart and healthy tips to avoid snacking in quantity all together?

Eat more during your non-snacking meals (i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Actually I don't have trouble with snacking at all o_o Especially at night. I also don't have any problems with binging either. I just know how much I want to lose weight and I also don't deprive myself of things if I do want them. Usually I'm not a big snacker since I tend to eat smaller meals spread out through the day. But if  I do snack I usually eat like a quarter cup granola or any type of fruit, dark chocolate, yogurt, cottage cheese, carrots, cucumbers anything relatively healthy that is usually around or not very much over 100-150 calories per "snack" sized serving :P

1- drink water

2- chew gum

3-eat a sliced apple

(AN old saying goes...if you don't want an apple you are not really hungry)

4-work snacks in 3 smaller meals and 2 snack are doable (snacks like fruit, nuts, chocolate...whatever if you fit it into your eating plan)
