Hi I've eventually made the decision to do something about my weight which has spiralled out of control, I'm over 16stone and can't believe I've let myself get here. I never had a weigh problem growing up it has just been a gradual process over the last 10 years. I eat until I feel ill and think about food all the time. I hope this will give me the right start to a healthier and happier me.

It's definatly a cliche, but the first step is the only way to go the distance. Congratulations on the first baby step!

Stick with your goals for a healthier you. Find what works for you and cling to it, work it. Fall in love with yourself, and it'll get easier.

Good luck on this miraculous journey you are about to undertake. If you stick with it, you'll see it. I added you to my supporting list, so keep going and know that this is a great community that's here to support you.

Thank u x

Glad you took the first step to getting healthy - I know it isn't an easy one to take!! I started CC (Calorie Counters) 29 days ago and have lost 12.2lbs - so i know it can be done. Was it easy - YES and NO. Yes because it allowed you to control or see the information on the foods that you were ingesting - it tells you your intake amount and you just need to stick with it. Now for the NO - my family is a Fast Food family on the weekends because we are usually so busy with the kids/grandkids - I have yet to find anything in fast food that will keep me on track so on days they eat fast food I resort to a low calorie boxed frozen food.

It is a challenge but one that you will overcome if you put your mind to it!! Good Luck!!

I know exactly what you mean, we usually have our set nights for take away and I know this will be the hardest time for me. I love Indian and Chinese food.
