Teen weight loss group?

I couldn't find any groups that specifically included teens who want to lose weight, so I wanted to see if there was anyone else interested. I'm 16, about 140 and I want to get down to at least 120. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm almost 20, so not really a teen anymore.  But take it from someone that used to be anorexic....most of you girls are already at a healthy weight and trying to go even lower is most likely not healthy for you.  Nette, for example, for your height, 114lbs is ideal, maybe even a little too low if you have a large frame.  If your frame is large, it means you should weigh more, not less.  105 is definitely way too low for your size. Andweallfalldown, also, 5'10 is tall for a female, and 130 is WAY too low for someone of your size.  Eat healthy, exercise, and be happy, don't obsess over calories or aspire to be what you see in hollywood, because it isn't realistic or safe.  Take it from me, I tried, and got myself in a very dangerous, unhealthy, and unhappy situation.  Please be careful girls.
hey everyone! i'm 15 years old, 5'5" and about 146 pounds. I've been gaining weight at a steady pace, it seems, since about 7th grade when someone i thought was my friend told me i was fat. before then i was about 5' 4" and 110, and perfectly happy with my body. but now looking in the mirror makes me sick, and my mom has been dropping a lot of hints trying to get me to lose weight today. I really want to weigh 125-130 and would love the support. i'm glad that there are other people in my boat!

im 16 and about 150 lbs. im either 5'4 or 5'5 - sadly i dont even know but i need to find out asap. umm ive been gaining about 10 pounds a year since grade 9 which has been really detrimental to my self-esteem, among other things. my friends (of course) say im not fat but i know i need to lose - for general health's sake and to feel better about myself (my butt is HUMONGOUS - i kid you not)

i've been on this site since late march but what happens is i do really well for a week and then i get stressed out with school/life and eat whatever/exercise never for two weeks. then i get really mad at myself for a week and then start over again. i really want to be between 125-130 by september when i go to university but i know i wont make it if i dont stop cheating. anyways, it feels good to "talk" about it and im glad for any support!

im trying to go down to altleast 99 pounds. woow. haha. honestly im 4'11" so dont worry. right now i am 109 so only 10 more to go.

and ive been trying to play tennis more often. haa :]

Im 5' 6 3/4'' and 166. I'm down from 230 but now my main goal is between 130-140. That would be consider healthy, if I'm not happy at that, I just wanna tone the extra skin.

I'm... about ready to throw my scale out the window. I always get a different reading...of like 3 pounds within seconds of eachother...argh!  Maybe I need a new battery...or a new scale.. lol

Hey all! I'm totally in on this! :D I'm almost 19, so i guess i'm barely a teen. I'm 5'3" and 121.5 pounds to start with. I'm down to 120. I want to be 110 like I was the beginning of my senior year in high school. maybe that's a bit un-realistic, but I'll be ok at 115. :)

I've been looking at most of the posts, and you guys don't need to lose weight.  I'm 16 and I'm 205.  Yeah.  I want to get down to 150, and I'm going to need some support.  I might be a guy, but losing weight isn't easy, and it's hard to stay motivated, when everybody around you is eating 3 plates of food, and you can only eat 3/4 of one.  Anyway, I'm willing to chat if anybody wants to, or if anybody wants to share support.  Thanks!

wow, some of you guys sound so slim, geez i'm 16, i weigh 69 Kilos (150 pounds) and i want to get down to 130 pounds (60kg). My height is 5'6 so i guess i dont want to get too low (under 125) because i'll start looking lanky... :s

I'm 5'7" 136 lbs, but my goal is to get down to at least 125.  im in serious need of motivation...its just way to easy to get off track! if anyone has some clever way of keeping themselves on their diet, let me know!

Hi! I'm 17 (18 in a month yay!), and about 115lbs - want to be under 100. (Dw I'm under 5ft tall... or short for that matter!) I specially find dieting hard when I'm feeling down, or drained and just feel like chocolate. Ya know? And also, all my friends at school sit there eating chips and pizza every day, and they're so skinny! So it's hard with all that kind of food around me. Plus they think im crazy for thinking about what i eat. Hmm, i also love to exercise; i go to the gym sometimes, i love to walk and cycle, and do other exercise (situps, pushups etc.) at home too.

HEY EVERYONE!!! i just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing!?! i am very pleased to announce that as of this morning i am 125.5! only 4.5lbs til my goal weight! as of right now i have lost a total of about 14lbs! and once i hit my goal weight i will have lost 18.5lbs! yay! im hoping to do it by june 25th that is my goal date b/c i am going on vacation then! I am very excited b/c people are starting to notice and compliment me on how much better i look! and i feel like my whole struggle is finally paying off! i wish everyone the best! keep up the good work!
