I feel like I'm stuck. I've been losing and gaining the same 4 pounds for over six months now. I start off great, but then after a couple of weeks, I'm back where I started.
I've got to try something different! Is there anyone in the same boat? I'm 40 f, 5'4" 186 lb. My short-term goal is 165lb, but eventually I'd like to be about 135.
My diet is quite good. Lots of veggies, fish, chicken, brown rice. My great weakness is over-eating during the evening. I'm so tired after my day, I give into every craving - especially anything sweet.
I work and have a 2 year-old so finding time for exercise is very challenging.
Anyone else in the same position? I'd love to find a weight-loss buddy to help keep each other motivated.
Hello,
I am in the same boat as you. I am 21yr. old 5'1 and 188 I am trying to lose a total of 70lbs. I struggle with ups and downs on my weight.
I am also very good on my diet, but I have trouble sleeping at night, so that leads to late night snacking.
I have started to force myself to work out 30 min. a day in the evenings, right before I go shower. This way my shower helps me relax. I also have an elliptical and that is what i work out on the most. I uploaded 30 min. worth of my favorite songs to workout too, and so I focus on my songs, instead of the time. I also like to watch the music channels for 30 min. It helps take my focus off the fact, that I dont want to exercise
I would love to try and help you stay motivated in anyway possible, even if it is you writing and saying " I am really thinking about that brownie, although I know I shouldn't" lol Anyway, I can HELP!
Brittany

Hi,
I am kind of in the same boat, I do really well losing like 20lbs, but I have lymes disease and sometimes it flares and the doc will put me on a steriod derivitive for a few weeks and I gain 23lbs. I feel like it is a never ending battle. But if I could lose more than 4olbs my Lymes would calm down too.
I eat pretty well and stay active with exercise and my soccer league too.
I'd totally be willing to help if you needed it!
