Hey everybody.

I just joined a little more than a week ago.

I am here to lose 55 pounds, which is very daunting to me. My weight gain is the result of two pregnancies in two years. 

I'm 5'10", and when I got pregnant, I weighed 160 pounds. By the time I had my second child 8 and a half months ago, I weighed 235. I have on and off dieted, and as of today I am 204.8 pounds. 

Anybody looking for a buddy to lose pounds with? We can be 'losers' together, hehe.  I'd like to do weekly weigh ins with someone, and give and receive support. Anybody interested?

i am in!!!!

 i lost 5lbs in the past two weeks and will like to have as much support as i can here because this a great free site. So if you want we join each other till we meet are goals and beyond.

Alright, great! Well, since its Tuesday, how about we make Tuesdays our weigh in days? 

I'm here to lend support if you need it. I'm 204.8 pounds as of today. So I'll see you Tuesday! Good luck!

Fine with me ill try to get tusdays my weigth in usually do weekends but as of the weekend it was 235.5

We can switch to saturdays, if that's easier for you. I recently switched to saturday anyway. I missed weighing in on Tuesday, had to go out of town unexpectedly. Weight today is 202.6.

Cookie welcome n i know is hard to keep r our weight in the same day so feel free to do it on your day n let us know your progress everyweek or welcome to do it saturdays like we are the point is the support so welcome jkserig way to go n congrats n removing those pounds n ill post my wait on saturdays by day da past weekend i was 233.5

And yes, welcome Cookie! I'm glad to have someone else to do this with. What's your weight currently, and what is your goal? I'm here if you need someone to talk to!

I'll weigh in tomorrow, but I'm not sure how accurate it will be, its 'that time of the month' for me. Plus, when I was out of town, I didn't exactly eat perfectly, so we'll see what happens. 

I've been eating very well recently though, and sticking to my calorie requirements. So I hope when my period is over, I will see a slight drop.

you will be fine Jkserig sometimes weird days help the body not get used to it just dont give up i will weight in tomorrow too. i am scare as well i have eating junk too but staying within my calories hopefully helps.

My current weight is 168. My goal is 130

I weighed in at 203 today :( Very disappointing. Trying not to take it to heart though, since I'm on my period. Still, its never fun to see an increase. Unfortunately, I'm also sick. What a crappy week!

Still watching what I eat though, and I'll return to excercising as soon as I'm better. 

common girl thats pointsomething you gain plus the period those make a difference you are doing fine keep it up we will get through this.

 

I also weighted myself and it was 232.4 so i removed 1.1lbs this week with a total of 8lbs in a month. i was dissapointed because i workout like crazy but in the other hand eventhough i stayed within my calories eating junk gets to you so together will do it dont give up (thank god today is my free day cause i need a beer) i bet next week you will be better.

Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it. :) I seem to need it lately. I'm not sure if its hormones or what.

Alright, so its Monday. I'm about to have my breakfast (a Soy Joy bar and a cup of coffee), and against all urges, I am NOT going to weigh myself today. Or tomorrow if I can help it.

Last week didn't go my way, and if I hop on the scale today, I think I might just get sad. But my period is almost over, and I'm going to eat perfectly, so I'll wait to get on the scale until Wednesday, and then I'll go from there.

Berenice, I hope you enjoyed your free day the other day, and hope you are still doing well.

girl i love my free days that is why i weight in on Saturdays cause i always have something going on so i dont worry at all and eat what i wanted all week but unconciously i discover myself making good choices here and there,

Hey ladies i couldnt log in yesteday because i lost my wireless mode however i did weight in and its official i have removed 10lbs in 5 weeks so i am now 230.

 

So how did you guys do???????????????

I just weighed in today, and I'm 201.2. I've been having a really hard time lately, but I keep trying. Feeling pretty good today.

Ok so i am new here just joined Friday.  I read your on going thread and would like to join in.  I don't seem to have a lot of support right now in my journey to lose some weight and get in shape.  I keep getting the you look great why are trying to change speech.  It may also seem odd to you all when you hear my current weight but as i am only 4'11" tall the ideal weight for me according to BMI and my Dr is low.  Infact it is lower then i think i have ever been and I am not sure I even want to go that low. 

My current weight is 141.5lbs my goal weight is 115.  115 is the top end of the ideal spectrum for my height and body frame.  This means I have 26.5lbs to go. 

I did triathlons for 2 years till an ankle injury sidelined me for almost a year ago.  I am just now getting back into exercise and am hoping this will help.

So far so good for me today, I ate a healthy breakfast and lunch. Its the evening that makes it so hard for me to stay on track. After a full day of house cleaning/maintenance and looking after my two boys ( almost 2, and 9 months), I am usually very tired, and often stressed, and HUNGRY. My will power always drops significantly at the end of the day. But I am determined!! I am really striving to see under 200 on the scale for the first time since having my kids. Nearly there!

And to think, before I got pregnant, I weighed 161 ( 8 pounds over my ideal weight), and I used to be unhappy about my weight..... seems silly to me now.
