Hello I'm 23 years old and need to lose almost 200 pounds. I have started exercising everyday and cut out soda, fast foods, and added more vegetables. Do you guys have any tips about losing weight??! Also I really want to get rid of nasty back fat, and stomach. Any ideas for work outs?

Hi! You've made some great changes so far!

Fat loss is all about taking in fewer calories than you burn. You can either do that by restricting how much you eat, increasing how much you burn or a combination of both (most effective).

As far as exercise is concerned, cardio will increase endurance and heart health and allow you to eat more while still having a calorie deficit. Strength training will allow you to maintain muscle while losing fat, preventing the "skinny fat" look.

My best weight loss advice is that you don't have to starve yourself in order to lose weight. If you lose weight at a sustainable pace (usually 1% of your body weight each week), you will be able to eat enough that you don't feel hungry and that will allow you to get needed nutrients from the food that you take in. Dietary fat is an important nutrient and shouldn't be singled out and excessively limited.

Drink water, eat breakfast and limit your intake of sugar
Lots of fruit , veg fresh meat and fish and daily walks and gym when you feel ready - best of luck to you
