Does anyone know a way to get rid of huge bruising. I have the biggest blackest bruise ever about 8 inches by 4 inches down my thigh. Trouble is boyfriend flying out to visit me on sunday and i want to be able to wear bikinis and mini dresses, (live in dubai its 125F+).

Putting arnica cream on and taking arnica tablets, but there must be some old wives tales or secert cures. To late for ice packs that supposed to be done to prevent the bruise

I think I've heard that you can bathe in a Epson salted bathand it will help a bit.

weirdly enough i put a plaster/band aid on the tiny bit that cut and now i have a square mark where theres hardly any bruising, explan that.

If you can find some Vitamin E capsules, that will help your body heal faster.

Once the bruise is there it's going to stay. Arnica will help a little but it takes time.  The sooner you get the arnica tincture on the bruise the better it works - it's better at prevention than it is at getting rid of the black and blue mark.  You can keep it from spreading by using an ice pack for 20 minutes every couple of hours.

Having plenty of vitamin K rich foods helps avoid bruising - dark leafy greens are a great source.
