hunny 3lbs is so small that you can fluctuate that from morning till night and at different times of the month. But seriously if you want to lose a little quickly cut out the processed crap, no junk food no white carbs, and no extra salt it makes you retain water.

Stick to fresh foods for a week and promise youll see an instant difference

LOL...sorry but that was pretty funny spirochete! Seriously though 3 pounds can absolutely fluctuate during the day and you are small to begin with..I agree with chelseagirl  no process foods ..stay close to nature and make sure to drinki your water. Good luck.

Try taking your bodyweight in pounds and dividing it by 2.  That's the number of ouces of water you should be drinking per day.  Not coke.  Not tea.  Not Kool-aid or Fruit juice.  Water.

Try drinking your water for a few days and see if you don't drop the weight.

I wish I had suggestions for you, because I'm actually in the same boat!  I'm 5'1 and weigh 114, and have been trying to get to 110 for a LONG time.  I'm trying to lose it based on my lifestyle, and all I've gotten has been 1 lb loss, but I am able to eat more now (had to fix my metabolism) and I am now a proud owner of serious muscle definition!  So, I have lost a lot of body fat.  But the other posters are right.  Cut out sugars, processed foods, things like that.  I eat healthy but, I have a cheat day once a week, and I can't cut out EVERY SINGLE THING.  If I did, I too, would achieve a 3 lb loss, but I don't believe it would last longer than a day. 

But, for you, you're only 18.  ENJOY YOUR SPEEDY METABOLISM!!!  I'm 32, and I have to work twice as hard to keep it revved up, just based on my age!  So, it will be a lot easier for you.  I workout 5 days a week, doing HIIT, (High Intensity Interval Training) most days of the week, and strength train 2-3 days a week.  It's a lot, but it feels great.  You won't have to workout as hard, but, if you did, you will drop it a lot quicker.  Good luck!

oatmeal with yogurt, plain chicken, and a plain baked potato (eaten in afternoon). This will make sure you do not gain weight and will probably make you drop 2 lbs in the next week. this is what my trainer uses and what she told me to do.

Is 111.8 a magical #?  Why not 111.0 or 111.2?

My point is:  You are talking about 3 pounds when you are as tiny as you are, that's just what is it-a number.  You are obsessing.  As the above posters said and I concur, your body can and does fluctuate daily (even hourly).

Keep your sodium intake down by watching the processed gunk and drink the H2O!

Oh!  I forgot!  STOP OBSESSING-ENJOY YOUR LIFE!

 

i lost over 30 pounds before without even trying and still get to eat frozen yogurt from Costco (they're huge!) at least once a week, so i don't know about the whole natural food sources, but it might work.

Search the 3 day diet!

You will lose the three pounds, but definately gain it all back when you eat normally
