Short-Term Goal Support Group

Quote  |  Reply

Hey everyone!

I posted a while ago looking for a buddy/twin with similar stats, but now I'm thinking that instead of that, we could start a group open to everyone where we make short-term goals for ourselves every week or so and post our successes and motivate each other. Let me know if you're interested and/or have any other ideas!

Height- 5'2"
Starting Weight- 140
Current Weight- 124.4
Long-term goal- 115
Short-term goal- 123 by sunday and feel better in my skinny jeans :)

I think that's a way cool idea. :)
Just a little bit at a time, that way you don't get so discouraged. <3

Heeeeight: 5'5"
BMI: 21.6
Current: 130 :(
Long term: 115 bby. ;)
Short term: Uhhhh 1.5-2 pounds by next tuesday.

I'll join! :)

Height: 5'4

Current: 126-128

Long term: 112-115

Short term: to start losing again by next week :)

I'm in!

Height: 4'11"

Current: 113.4 this morning

Long term: 105

Short term: be 112.something by next week, the lowest weight I will have ever been at

Sounds good! :)

My stats are pretty close to yours.

Height: 5'2"
Starting Weight: 131 lbs.
Current Weight: 125 lbs.
Long term goal: 110 - 115 lbs.
Short term goal: 4th of July is this weekend (and I might be tempted by the nice smellin hot dogs! :() so I'll set my goal a bit lower. I want to loose atleast 1 lb. by July 11th.

yuss, I don't know your age, bodytype or anything but 78 lbs for your height is considered a dangerous weight :S

Now that you mentioned it, I think maybe I should change my goal from getting down to 123 to maintaining the 123.4 I'm at right now through the long weekend. My brother's birthday is the 4th, so we'll be having a big cook-out, and of course the inevitable cake :) I think trying to maintain will be more helpful in the long run.

Yay!  Someone just like me!

  • Height: 5'2"
  • SW: 132 lbs
  • CW: 126 lbs
  • GW: 115-112lbs
  • Short term goal: 124lbs by next Friday when I leave for the states!

I figured I'd check in and see how everyone is going with their goals so far :)

I didn't quite make mine...I'm back up to 124. It's only about half a pound, so I'm not upset really :)

I think my new goal will be to be down to 123 by Saturday. I'm going to be seeing a bunch of my classmates during the day and I want to surprise them.

How is everyone else doing?

I've been doing great, but for some reason the scale jumped this morning.  Grr!  I'm sure it's water weight, b/c there is seriously no way I didn't lose some ounces yesterday lol.  I'm just laying off the sodium today and hoping tomorrow will tell me something different!  I'm reeeeally hoping for 124 By Friday (even if it's 124.8!)

I reached my short term goal - I'm 112.4 this morning. My next short term goal is 110 by Thursday July 17th (my birthday!)

I'm also a 5'2"-er here & was trying to get to 124lbs for my short term goal by July 11th. I'm still getting over a little flu bug so I haven't been really tracking my weight for this week. I'll have to reset my goal a bit once I get back on my good eating track again.
