Anyone see last night's episode of Split Endz and one of the salons featured, Twiggs in a town in Minnesota?  I was so appalled at the owners attitude!!!  Apparently, she has pure disgust for "Fat People" and they need not apply for postitions as stylists in her salon (and if you look like a stripper, better not either, lol).  She goes on to talk about how she works out every single day because if she were to ever get fat "Just shoot me" (Owner Points finger at brain to exaggerate her point).

So on the show a heavyset woman is getting her hair done at Twiggs salon by the swapped stylist from Arizona.  I wonder how the Twiggs client feels now that the show has aired and she knows how the Salon Owner REALLY feels about fat people?

I saw that show and I couldn't believe she said that either.  That's totally bad PR because not every one of her clients walking in is going to be a "twig."  She could be turning away some very wealthy clients who might just be above average in weight.  Her attitude was just very snotty.

You should read the blogs about the show. I don't have cable and can't watch, but the Melissa at the Arizona salon is a relative of mine and a really nice person. The bloggers were really down on Miss Doggy.
