So, I was an active calorie-count user and member.. but then, I just gave up and that resulted in me gaining 15 pounds! BLECH! THat's 16 MORE to lose make it 41 pounds that's gotta go. Oh boy. I plan to do this before the year ends. I'm definately not gonna start 2009 looking the way i am now.
But I'm taking baby steps and I go through this in 8-week time periods. After every eight weeks, I get to buy an outfit I would NEVER even THINK of buying :) .. I mean yeah I'm gonna shop in between but after the eight weeks, I plan to buy something eye catching and mind blowing !
I also plan to lose around 12 pounds every eight weeks. That's 1.5 pounds a week. It may sound simple but I'm not gonna try to slip through, I'm gonnna work my butt off for these eight weeks and maybe, just maybe, exceed my goal by a few pounds. BUT - less than 12 is not gonna cut it.
Okay, I'm not gonna post my weight until tomorrow which will be the beginning of WEEK 1.
&&YES! There are goals for every week for motivation. Winners will receive a sticker made by yours truly :)

FITNESS GOAL FOR WEEK 1
To start off simple, the first goal of the first week will be to get as many minutes of cardio as you can. You may give daily updates on how your cardo has been going. To win, you must get the most minutes of cardio for the week. And remember, cardio can be fun! Dancing in your room is cardio, so it swimming, bike riding, anything that gets your heart pounding. PLEASE don't go over your limit and pass out. Do what your heart can take, it will all add up. Cardio is a fat-blasting an burning activity that will SURELY speed up your journey on the road of weight loss. Good luck!

Okay this sounds pretty good! I am definitely lacking in motivation lately... my goal will be a less ambitious 1 lb/week.
SW july 7th: 146
GW sept 1st: 138ish
Goal is to average 1500 cal/day, some less and some more. That worked pretty well for me before.
My measurements are actually more important because my wedding dress will be here in mid-Sept! No I didn't order it a size too small, but I have def gained a few lbs since it was ordered. Obviously it will be better to have it taken in a bit than let out :) Now I know why people like the corset style...
OK i am in too and will do my best to get on here regularly. After having my baby i had complications with my c section leaving me unable to run jog walk far without pain and now i still cant run but am healthy enough and finally have the time to put into this. Good luck to everyone. I am trying to do 60 min a day on the tred mill fast walking. And some strength trainging too

Count me in please! I am waisting my gym membership by not going so I need something to motivate me!

Goal weight-145 (Maybe not by Sept. 1 because that will get me out of the overweight range and thats my main goal.)
