Just one...you don't even want to hear my pathetic attempts at Spanish and Japanese which are the only languages that I know any other words in.

Two....Scottish and English   Laughing

just kidding, sorry only know a few non repeatable words in other languages.

I'm learning Japanese right now in college.  I'm in intermediate Japanese... so I guess I'm okay at speaking, I could get around if needed but not all that well, lol.  I know very little Spanish.  I learned it for the test so I could keep my A in the class but I didn't retain much.

oo, im learning japanese now too!
except im still in high school...im just taking once a week classes at a community college and my teacher is ADD so progress is slow

i reached AP level spanish in high school...so i guess i can speak that? :P

I'm working on my 4th.  I speak English, French and Russian, and I'm working on Czech.

Que?Foot in mouth

Pretty cool  =)))

I can Speak >>>>>

Hebrew

Arabic

English, If that counts.

fluently, only two. =[

english and thai

Russkiy, English, Francais
English and french :)

and i used to be fairly fluent in sign language...but i've lost a lot of it because i havent used it lately :(
English, Spanish, Sign Language, (understand but don't speak Italian) and in the middle of learning Arabic

I took French in high school.... but I don't remember much.  must have been ditching?  I dunnno

:)
English and just enough German to make myself look like an idiot if I ever went to Germany and tried to speak their language.

Two English and french

Deux Anglais et Français

well im not entirely fluent in french i can handle a conversation though

English and sign language, even though it's not spoken.  I also know enough French to carry on a casual conversation involving food or general things around the house, and enough Spanish to tell someone not to move, 'cause it's going to hurt.
Oh, and I know enough Japanese to get me through a two hour dinner at a Japanese restaurant, and can say Japanese song lyrics.  Alex is still teaching me.
Two.

English and bad English.
English, French and Russian - like a bunch of you on here (!) and a bit of Arabic. I want to learn Spanish, too, one of these days....

Cool question!
I don't know how some of you define "speaking" but I personally think that to be able to say that you speak a language, you have to be fluent. Knowing a few words here and there does not equal speaking...

according to some of you, I can say I speak about 10 languages....
I agree with you to some extent (#18)

that's one reason I made sure I stated that I understand but don't speak Italian.  I would be able to get by with Italian if I needed too

Two, English and Spanish (dual first languages)

I also know a couple of shards of French, probably enough to make small talk about the weather and ask for directions to the nearest sandwich kiosk, LOL
