TEST DAY- JULY 8, 2008

Tomorrow starts the 10 day-10lb trial test.

My stats:

Age: 23 (24 tomorrow)

5' 6"

F.

Background- Gained 50+ pounds during twin pregnancy last year

Today's weight: 213.6

after completing this workout (I know not very accurate) 213.2

We'll see tomorrow- I hope I have other people interested!

The exercises sound fun, but bear in mind a healthy amount of weight to lose in a week is 1-2 lbs.  This plan is suggesting you can lose 7 lbs in one week.  Not very healthy if you ask me.  However, if you increase your eating as you increase your calorie burn, then go for it.  But make sure your deficit is no more then 1000 calories, and don't expect to lose 10 lbs in 10 days.

Good luck!

Assuming that you're already eating the right amount to maintain your weight, you should be just fine as far as the diet goes.  It looks like this burns 500-1000 calories and helps to increase your fitness level for those who are out of shape.  If you've been exercising all along, this probably won't do too much for you.

Hey Everyone- Thanks for all the input, however I was more looking for People who wanted to join in and try out this challenge. I added the exercises up- and although probably not completely accurate it was a burn of about 300-400 calories

Its fun and different. Trying to motivate in alternative ways-

So are you two interested in trying it out?? or are we just commenting?

I've been exercising too long for it to have that kind of effect on me.  Just commenting for those who will look at it and think it's a crazy unhealthy thing to try.  It's not, it just sounds like it because you'll probably get the shock value with dropping a bit of water weight at first.

I might try this myself.  Looks like an easy routine, but not sure it will keep the pounds off.  People in general will surely burn some calories after not having done exercise in a while.

In a month (30 days) when I was younger (20s) I lost maybe ten pounds just by starting to exercise.  You body adapts and burns faster while young.  Just be careful of STARVATION MODE and eat enough.

I'm in.  Sounds like a quick and simple change from the norm.  For the last month+ I have been getting my exercise by running 7+ miles outdoors 4 times a week, but have gotten bored with it and am lacking motivation due to inclement weather.  Hopefully this will be a good jumpstart to regaining motivation!  I am 5'6" and am currently at 128...I don't think that this routine will get 10 lbs off me in 10 days but perhaps it will help me shed a stubborn few!

Hi im in if there is still room for one more?? its a fairly straight forward routine that can be carried out at home so there is no harm...burn a few more calories! I started five weeks ago at 144lbs and I have now reached 136lbs, only another 14lbs to go before i reach my target weight of 122lbs! this might keep me motivated for another while, good luck guys x
