Alright.
Age: 18, Height: 5'5, Weight: 124
I am looking to lose 5-7 more pounds.
I just need reassurance :)
Kidnutrition, says if I dont exercise I burn 1700. So 1700-500 = 1200 to eat correct?
So if I was to add less than an hour of exercise (approx. 30 minutes) it would be 2000 - 500 = 1500 to eat correct?
I am not sure what my activitly level is really though.
My Monday - Friday looks like this..
5:30 wake up get ready for school.
6:45am - 4:00pm Sewing at school THE WHOLE TIME, and get up to cut materials which is semi often. So I do walk around, not sure how much though you know?
5:00 get home. 5-6 - probably sit down, eat something get online. 7-8 take a shower, eat dinner. 8-9 go to sleep.
Is that lightly active, or sendentary? Not sure.
Weekends - Sleep, Eat, Watch movies all day long. Hahaha.
You are already at the very lowest end of a healthy BMI. I would like to assure you that you look great (saw your pics) and losing more weight does not make sense for someone your age and size. If you are in the fashion industry (as I'm just guessing, from the sewing) you may be overly exposed to underweight people. Don't be like them; be the healthy one! Your body won't want to let go of those lbs easily for a very good reason: it needs them. So please, re think this and learn to love yourself as you are. A couple lower numbers on the scale will not change anything.
Bump.
Thanks. I would still like to know my activity level.
Nobody?
I agree with mkculs, but in answer to your question, you are about light activity
I agree with coach, you would be sedentary if you layed in bed or on the couch all day.
You are probably a great weight for your height and age... Why don't you start exercising to tone your body (didn't see your photos) and be more heart-healthy? Try something fun--tennis, golf, volleyball, yoga, bike riding, exercise class... It is a great way to meet new people and de-stress. As you get older and the pounds start to creep on... the habit of exercising AND enjoying it will pay big dividends. After being in school all day some fresh air and activity would energize you and make you feel more positive about your body!
