i always weigh myself 1st thing monday mornings, AFTER going to the loo (that must account for a couple of oz!) and before eating, drinking or showering (wet hair weighs more than dry!! ;-D)

anyone else weigh in on mondays? shall we have a "monday weigh-in club" and report each monday how we're doing? might be a good idea to just reply to this topic each week to keep it all in one place rather than creating new topics each week? then we can all spur each other on!

last time i was trying to lose weight i started off by weighing in every friday, but found that weighing myself on mondays instead actually was an incentive to lay off the binges i'd usually do on a weekend, as the thought of braving the weights immediately after the weekend was enough to scare me from overeating!

so this is the start of my first week, so no loss to report yet, but my starting weight is 72kg / 158.8lbs, and we'll see how i did next week!

ooooo Me me me!!!  129 this morning..
212 for me this morning. That is a loss of 3 lbs. Yay!
grrr 174 :(
What a coinky dink!  I just switched from daily to weekly.  I was at 184.2 lbs this morning, down 1.6 lbs from last monday.  But I'm more in maintanence mode, so we will certainly celebrate a decrease, but won't sweat an increase :-D
what a great idea!  i definitely need motivation to keep away from weekend binges.  i just finished reviewing my first week.  all good until friday comes along...

so yes, my first monday weigh in... 141.4.  (up from friday but down from last monday)
I'm in.  Today at 208, down 2# this week, 12 total.
152.4 this morning......it is slowly coming off!!!!!
I'll weigh in too...yikes, I never, never tell my weight...164.5 with16.5 pounds to go
i am in .....216.5
121.4 up from 120.6 on Friday  I can't seem to hit 120 or below.  Ugh!!!
Ok, but Mondays are very inconvenient for my weekend binge-fests...   193.4
OK... I can't believe I'm doing this.. I'm SO ashamed to admit my weight outloud, even to myself.  But.... admitting your problem is the first step... right?

This moring was my first weigh in of my journey to a healthier me so this is probably the best possible of threads for me to join.

stalling here.... lol... 265.... that will be the last time I have to admit that though... I'm determined and with the help of this site I KNOW I CAN SUCCEED :o)
yay, good to see more fellow monday weighers! we will have to support and motivate each other - in a way knowing that i "have to" come on here and report my progress or lack thereof will spur me on i think!

let's see what this week brings and i'll see you all back here next week!
179 and holding (and holding and holding and holding......)

I've been weighing every day and it's killing me! So, I'll join in on the weekly thing. This morning I was 161 lbs and still plateauing, blah.
I am up a teeney bit since Friday, so I am at 120.6 lbs.  But not much farther to go!
I'm in too.

7/10/2006 : 277.0 lb

7/17/2006 : 270.4 lb

7/24/2006 : 267.2 lb

Today:

7/31/2006 : 264.0 lb
Count me in.

Alas, my goal of losing 10 lbs by my 10 year class reunion will not be realized, I'm exactly where I started at 128.  Dang starvation mode...so hard to get out of!

Oh well.  I will still probably be one of the few at the reunion that still weighs the same as she did in high school!
ahh weight gain! 139..=[
I'm really close to my goal weight, and so I'm trying not to stress over the scale so much.   Especially since it's hardly moving.  I want to tone and get conditioned for the 5K I'm signed up for on Aug 12.  *YIKES* For the month of July I only lost 1.8 lbs total.   /sigh

Today I weighed in and I'm at the same EXACT weight I've been at the last 3 or 4 weigh ins .... 135.2

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with that number.  It looks fantastic from where I was at the New Year.  I haven't been this weight since probably 10th grade!  I'm just ready to be at my goal and learn how to maintain.  My goal is 125.
