friday weigh in
Hi ya'll! I know it's Monday, but I thought maybe somebody might be interested in a Friday weigh in club. I have lost 60 pounds and have another 30 to go. I usually weigh every day, twice a day actually. Since I am losing slower now and I tend to eat out on the week end and have water gain on Monday, I thought maybe just once a week on Friday would be better. What do you guys think? I started at 245, weigh 184.5 and am going for 155. Take care, linda

Ok, I'm gonna switch to Friday too cause I seem to break it on the weekends cause I always have a house full or I go out to visit friends. This way I have a week to fix the damage....lol
I started Sept. 18th 2006 at 220. Lost 6 lbs...gained 5lbs and as of last Friday lost 2lbs...soooo 218lbs now

Great ya'll, I was hoping there were others who needed a couple of days to get back in the groove from the week end!!! This past Sunday we had potluck at church. Well I didn't eat any dessert, but I did try a spoonfull of almost everything else. So yes monday would not have been good for me to weigh in!! LOL take care linda
Ya me too...we had a get together with friends and I tried it all too...lol...but back on track.
Hi ya'll, I am back on track after the week end. Altho I did go over last night, I had a lot of handcooked potatoe chips. They come in a brown bag. So good. My daughter bought them and well she left them at my house so I ate some. I went over my diet calories, but not my maintainance cal so I guess I at least didn't gain. I was bad tho as far as weighing. This not weighing every day, only once a week is harder than I thought it would be. I couldn't help myself and I weighed this morning. Even after the chips and this week end, I lost 1 pound!! Surprise! I am down to 183.5 down from 184.5 So who knows!! I am still only going to weigh on Friday. I have to start weaning myself off of this whole daily thing. It can get depressing to see upward changes. So now I am 183.5 and that is what I will stay untill Fri when I hope I'll be down again. Hi I would love to join the Friday weigh in club. I am new here and I too weigh in on Fridays, because Mondays would be bad, lol. I was weighing in everyday sometimes more than once a day when I first started, but I could not take the day to day and hour to hour fluctuations. So please include me. I originally started at 220 lbs, by the time I came here I was 205 and now almost a month after coming to Cc I am 200. I need to exercise more, lol. Take care
I'd like to join the Friday weigh in club. I always logged my weight on friday morning into this site anway.. so I might as well post on this forum too. I started at 315 July 26th 2006, Currently at 284 as of Friday Oct 13th.
I actually didn't do too bad either over the weekend...not like I thought anyways...no loss but no gain so that's ok. This week hopefully a loss by Friday...:)
Hi all you Friday morning weighers! It is time for the inevitable meeting with the scale!! Hopefully good news is "gained" for all! I am at my goal I set for myself for today at 183. So I feel pretty happy about that. How about the rest of you. Hope all is well. I have a BIG family and friends Pig Pickin at my house tomarrow. Lots of food and a little stress also. Not planning on "pigging" out , but will enjoy myself. Have a great week end you guys! My new goal for next Friday the 27th of oct. is 181. Hope to be there or below.See ya next week. linda

Man, Still no loss and I was so careful all week and drank tons of water. Very disappointed....still at 218. Don't know what's up with my body. I think it's punishing me for all those years of not taking care of it....:( Ok enough....."I'm sorry body!" Not let me get this weight off! :(
well i weigh on fridays too so i thought id post. i weighed in last
friday at 268.8. today i weighed in at 268.2. not quite the loss i was
looking for, but it will do. at least i lost something. i have really
stepped up the exercise ecently so i am hoping that maybe i gained a
little muscle or perhaps im just holding some water. there is really no
other reason. i should have lost about 1.5lbs. oh well. i have been
doing this 3 months. perhaps im in for a dreaded plateau.
I know how you feel laugh,I finally got rid of the 187 plateau about a weekand a half ago. Lasted 3 weeks. It was not fun. I cut out eating half as many carbs as I was eating and I think for me that is what made the difference. Hope I don't see anymore plateaus uck!!! Hey elttiks congrats on getting to your goal weight!!! I don't know of a forum for people who just reach goal weight, but I would love to know so when I reach my goal I can get a lot of support and help there too. Let me know hey?? linda
I'm in on the Friday weigh-in...I'm doing this at work too...we're doing "dieting for dollars" and we just started today...according to the scale that my coworker bought...i weigh 212.8...my first goal is 180...and i started lowering my Calories this past Monday...

Hi guys, I'm bad. Here it is Sunday and I am just now posting. I'm sorry. I weighed in at 185. Totally missed my goal of 181.!! :( I had a bad week. But all is not lost. Yesterday, Saturday, was a new day and a new beginning. This morning I am 184.5, so I am now on the downware trend again. One thing that really hit hard is that I am a candy and chocolate fiend. My husband , bless his little heart, brought into this house 90! no exaggeration, 90 full sized snicker bars. ! A store was going out of bussiness an his dad bought a bunch and gave us a whole case! Well thank God trick or treating is coming, plus I have grand kids to give them to. Altho on Friday I did eat 2 of them (* red face, ashamed, cover face*!!!) But that is behind me and I did get it out of my system, I hope! So all is well today. Walking and eating right so next week 183??? Take care and God Bless linda

I do my waist size and weigh in on Fridays. I also weigh myself daily but if I don't I absolutely weigh in on Tuesdays and Fridays. This weekend I have not been doing the best on keeping track of what I have been eating. I am at 188.8lbs this morning, I will get back in the grove of counting and more excersise. I am cool to do my weigh in here on Fridays.
