If your nerdy like me you could use a measuring cup to portion out the exact serving size.
Use it as a snack for work or school (ie a safe distance from the bag).
If you eat it at home do the same thing.
I don't know if you eat if straight from the bag, but this should be avoided.
Eating anything from the bag leads to binging.
The more aware I am of what I'm eating, the less I eat.
Of course logging calories on a site like this is great for making yourself aware of your eating behavior.
If you absolutely cannot control overeating these foods buy them in smaller packages.
best of luck:))
I love honey roasted soy nuts but haven't been able to find them anywhere! i had them in Colorado, but they don't stock them where I live on the east coast!
Bear Naked Fit Vanilla Almond Crunch - a 1/4 of a cup with nonfat plain yogurt goes a long way.

Uh-oh.. i finished 2Kg of honeyed macadamia nuts in 2 days.. You mean nuts are fattening food? I mean how bad is my damaged? Will i gain 5 pounds within these 2 days??
.........well i dont think you'll gain 5 pounds but for information sake i shall find how many calories those nuts were
For a 2000 g of whole/halves macadamia nuts came to approx. *drum roll please*
Calories = 14358.21
Grams of fat = 1514.93 (241.8g saturated, 29.85 Polyunsaturated, 1177.61g mono unsaturated)
Grams of protein = 158.21
.....Are you sure you ate 2 kilograms? Cause these are scary numbers 0.0.... That averages to about 7000 calories each of those 2 days...
P.S. This was for RAW...

oh, man... i love them -nuts! i cant find the healthy trial mix - so i convinced myself that this is bad:)) but nuts! - everybody says - they are good fats! - a lot of good fat:)) my favourite are walnuts, hazelnuts and cashews... thats why i eat almonds....:)) raw....:)....ONE in every trip to the kitchen, so finally when i am tired of running back and forward, i decide it is not worth it.. otherwise - it is a meal replacement for me.;)
best of luck:))
Hey good idea about the one nut per trip thing. I did a more intense version of that with peanuts. The ones i have are in shell so for every trip to the kitchen i can take a peanut out and shell it, next trip i can dispose of the trash, next trip i can eat 1 nut/piece of nut (if nut split in half tough luck more work for me) It also helps that i am usually upstairs in my room and the kitchen downstairs. Only thing i did different the first time was i allowed my self to take out 4 shells and shell them first but then i was obligated to go through the routine the required amount of times even if i didnt want any more nuts
Whenever I want to eat nuts,
I carefully measure like 1/2 cup.
But then I end up eating half the container!
And I love granola bars with nuts.
you guys will be happy to know that there have been studies done about nuts and tests have shown that people, even those who increase their calorie intake by 400 calories in NUTS (i believe it was almonds and walnuts) show NO WEIGHT GAIN over the course of eight months.
i mean, i don't know how accurate they are...
but i do know i have a hard time controlling myself around nuts. so i don't! and haven't gained anything from 'em.
BTW i am running Emerald Nuts Midnight Run today:) - There will be NUTS in the goodie bag!:))) Not sure what i am more excited about - run or nuts:) lol jk
