I had the best group last year. We emailed each other with our food plan for the next day, talked about events that might cause a problem and how we could make it easier to get threw, and things going on in our lives. We have become very close and all had good success.
We made it to our goals and now I want to go down 10 more pounds and then learn how to maintain that weight. Now I need a new group to keep me accountable and make weight loss more enjoyable.
I'm 5'6" and 146 pounds. I am going on vacation on March 26th and would like to be at goal.
I will join your group.
I have just seriously started dieting but I went to the club and exercised today and took the dog for a long walk.
I am trying to eat only healthy whole foods. I am addicted to the veggies bowl at Zabbas Mexican Food, It has brown rice and black beams in it. I can not find the calorie count on line for it so I am going to try make it for myself at home tommorrow.
What are your dieting plans?
I would love to join! I have 15lbs to go before I hit my goal weight of 125lbs (my pre-college weight). I am currently 140lbs, 5ft 4inches and have hit a plateau that has me incredibly frustrated!
I pretty much eat the same breakfast/snacks each day - lunch and dinner vary depending on whether or not I eat a frozen meal or grab the healthiest left over options from home. I would definitely like to hear what works best for you and what you have done to break the plateau.
Hey I'm in ....Need to lose 12- to 15 pounds. My goal is 124 (my happy weight) I'm right at 136. I can't seem to make it go away. It gets harder to rid of the older I get. The more support and motivation the better.
I shall join this group!
It's funny TEARS, our goal is the same, and we weigh the same, lol.
Hey *waves*
I am 24 years old, I currently weigh 135, I started at 140 on Jan 9. My goal is 124/125 for now.
I would like to be the weight I was during high school which was 115/120.
I would love to lose my last 10lbs.
I'm aiming to lose 1 lb per week, so 8lbs by March 26 is definitely doable.
Age: 28
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 150lbs

Question: This thread was officially started today 2/4/08
Do you guys want our official weigh-in day to be Monday? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi! :)
I have a lot more than 15 lbs to lose, but I figured I would do a lot better with someone I know to start out with.

Welcome aboard all! Monday works great as a weigh in date. What are some challenges this week that will make dieting hard? My biggest challenge is everyday after 9:00! I finally get the kids to bed and I really want to munch on something! And getting myself to exercise after a long day on my feet.

Well I have a daughter that dose not want me to lose weight so she brings stuff home from the bakery she works for.... And I like to snack at night afer 8:00... I will have to say that I have been doing well with that in the last few weeks....
2) Another challenge is not weighing myself this week. I tend to weigh myself every morning. Instead of focusing on my weight, I need to concentrate on toning and exercise.
3) Another goal is to workout 5 times this week a minimum of 55 mins per session.
