hi,
joined the site a few days ago. married stay at home mom of two little ones, the youngest 18 months. still have about 15 lbs to go to get back to last prepregnancy weight. i'm 5'4". honestly, i hate dieting and excercise put know the weight won't come off if I don't. I have been drinking slimfast optima in AM, lean cuisine lunch and regular dinner this week.(not sure how long I can do it for.
anyone else close to my description? how are you losing the weight? I have food at my fingertips ALL day long. weaknesses-chocolate,soda, anything with cheese.

You sound like I used to. Read my profile and you will see that I never used to exercise or diet and I hated the thought.
I don't diet now.
I just use moderation and the healthy habits I have learned.
Check out the Tools if you haven't already. Once you know what you burn naturally and what your calorie target should be it is easier to learn how to incorporate the foods you enjoy.

Thanks! The logs are real wake up calls and have helped me tremendously. though I'm still not sure about the activity one. Am I supposed to log everything I do for that 24 hour period? Is that what the burn meter is for?
I've lost 8 lbs already and am very excited to see if I can reach my goal weight by this summer. After I get to my point I want to create healthy eating for my lifetime goal.
Hi, momof2. I am also a momof2. So, how are you doing at reaching your goal? I just joined today, and my hopes are to lose these last 20 lbs. I guess by seeing how many calories you are actually eating as apposed to guessing will help. That's my hope anyway.
I want to be in the best shape of my life before I turn the big 4-0!
