Usually Egg white / Whole egg sandwhiches.. either or.

and sometimes oatmeal with apples and PB meted on top

or sometimes i have cerial

or . a mix of this haha

or something totally random

but i alwayssss have some kinda fruit like apples or orange

during the week i have either:

soy sausage patty with 2% american cheese slice on whole wheat mini bagel OR oatmeal with fruit

on the weekends i have either:

mix of cereals with soymilk and fruit OR scrambled soy sausage, potatos, tofu, cheese, peppers and onions

For a substantial lasting breakfast I like to make pumpkin oatmeal sprinkled with fiber one and splashed with vanilla almond breeze. Add to that coffee and water.

For a quick but filling breakfast I like to toast 2 pieces of Nature's own sf bread, cook 1/4 cup egg whites. On one piece of toast I smear some jelly and put the egg on top and the other is free game for whatever else i want on it.

Usually a combination of two or three of the following. (I eat big breakfasts.)

-Pumpkin with Splenda

-Light n' Fit yogurt with cinnamon and blueberries

-Oatmeal with walden farms maple syrup

-Apple or grapefruit

-egg white or eggbeaters omelette

-Smoked salmon and toast

-Leftovers from last night's dinner

I always have oatmeal in the mornings.  It seems to keep me full more than most other things, probably because of the fiber.  I get most of my oatmeal ideas from Hungry-Girl.com, but I'll alter them to make them my own.  I always make sure to have some kind of fruit in them, so not only am I getting fiber, I'm getting a serving of fruit.

I've started to drink milk recently, too.  I'll measure out a cup of milk and stir in a tablespoon of sugar-free chocolate syrup.  It's a good source of protein and calcium, and keeps me fuller than just the oatmeal alone!

A good fiber breakfast I find is go lean waffles are good for hunger and so yummy. I can toast them and eat on my way to work or if I have time to sit I will use Agava nectar instead of maple syrup. Its a sugar sryup from a catus, i think, and it absorbs slowly in the bloodstream so later in the day you aren't craving sugar. Good also in coffee and such.

Coffee with creamer and sugar, a medium banana, Kashi Golean vanilla hot cerel, made with almond breeze, 1 packet of sweetnener, and 2 tbsp of pumpkin.

I switch between 3-4 items -

6 slices of deli chicken or turkey meat in 2 slices of 40 calorie bread + two servings of fruit

3 boiled eggs + 2 servings of fruit

2 morning star/Boca patties + 2 servings of fruit

3-4 dannon light/fit yogurt + 2 servings of fruit.

Cereal & Milk and a piece of fruit.

On the weekend, 2 eggs and toast.

Toasted english muffin with 2tbs Peanut Butter

    OR

Toasted english muffin with 3 slices brown sugar deli ham and 1 slice pepper jack cheese, 1/2 grapefruit, kiwi or strawberrie

    OR

Low sugar brown sugar maple oatmeal with 1 tsp ground flaxseeds, 3 slices brown sugar deli ham, 10 unsalted peanuts

    OR

1c Corn Flakes (or whatever cereal we have on hand at the time), 1/2c strawberries, 1/2c 1% milk, banana with cinnamon

Pretty much everyday; oatmeal (with flaxseed, wheat germ, and wheat bran), strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, an egg white omlette (3/4 cup whites, tomatoes, and mushrooms), and a slice of sprouted-grain bread with almond butter.

Sometimes I'll have vegan pancakes too, or "french toast" but not very often. I used to make 'sausage' out of homemade seitan (wheat gluten) and spices, but I'm getting a bit more sensitive to gluten now, so I haven't done it in a while.

1/2 cup oatmeal w/1/4 cup raisons and 2 splenda's. Sometimes I will have 1 cup fiber one w/ raisons or 1 cup of Kashi w/ raisons.

Mmm... french toast... one of my favourites!

Right now I'm on an egg/englishmuffin/veggie sandwich kick.

I mix and match these...

-Cereal (bran flakes) with skim milk

-Life cereal

-Egg cooked in a pan with yolk still runny, served on whole wheat bread

-Oatmeal with various toppings

-Canned pumpkin with cinnamon and splenda in a pita

-PB and J and banana in a pita

-Hash browns cooked in cooking spray with ketchup

-Peanut butter and banana sandwich

-PB and J

-Cream of wheat with various toppings (bananas are my favorite)

-Toasted bagel with butter or peanut butter

-Toasted English Muffin with pb

Cereal with soymilk

Yogurt

Egg white sandwhich

Usually one of those three. Always accompanied by fruit and a couple slices of toast with olive oil (instead of butter) and jelly.

My favorite:  Thomas' whole grain light english muffin (100 calories) with a slice of fat free cheese (30 calories) melted on it, a little bit of "I can't believe it's not butter" spray (no calories) and two Morningstar Soy breakfast sausages sliced lengthwise (80 calories).  (Morningstar also makes soy sausage patties, but they are pretty dry, the links are the same calorie wise and and more moist and more correct in terms of texture.

210 calorie sausage breakfast sandwich with plenty of protein and tons of fiber!  It's very filling and always holds me over until lunch!

be careful damsell, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray actually DOES have calories. i've seen this in many articles.

notice how it says 1.25 sprays or something like that.

honestly, no one counts 1.25 sprays lol. that's not a normal serving.

generally, because there is canola oil, EACH spray is almost one calorie (.99999 calories). just be careful because if you spray too much, it can add up a lot.
also- the whole bottle of that stuff is 900-some calories. crazy huh?

"A Honolulu Advisor article says that, actually ICBINB spray actually does have calories:
"I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray is a good example of how this can be misleading — even though the label boasts "zero" calories and fat, that's just for a few sprays. If you were to use 25 sprays, it's actually 20 calories and about 2 grams of fat — and while this is still low, it's not 'zero.'"

If I have an early class a cup of dry kashi heart to heart cereal (hate milk!) and if it is a later morning class first thing, fat free yogurt.  I always have some kind of herbal tea (mmmm tea).

i usually have the same thing, whether it's a weekday or weekend. although on weekends, i usually try to eat more, seeing as how i usually go the gym soon after. my breakfasts consist of a serving of meat/meat alternative, a piece of fruit, a serving of dairy and sometimes a grain serving too.

for example, my breakfast plan for today is:

  • an organic whole-milk yobaby! banana yogurt
  • a healthy homemade oatmeal applesauce muffin
  • an omelette with 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites
  • a whole grapefruit

I have either of these:

  • poached or fried (in xvoo) egg atop 4-5 oz sauteed spinach with shallot (agin, in xvoo)
  • 1/2 toasted bagel with Tofutti Cream Cheese substitute
  • 1 cup Raisin & Nut Granol with 1/2 cup Silk Plain Soymilk
  • 1 cup lowfat yogurt or kefir sweetened with stevia, rounded tbsp ground flax seeds & sprinkles of granola or half a banana

one of there is ALWAYS accompanied by 2 cups of coffee with 1/2 tsp of agave nectar and a good amount of Silk Soy Creamer.  i detest black coffee

I rarely deviate from this.  Breakfast has never been my favorite meal, but I need it to work out in the mornings.
