well according to the program I need to lose between 140-150.. so I suppose I would qualify? I know that personally I've grown up overweight.. and although I'm basically at my heaviest now, I've always been heavy. It's difficult to imagine not being overweight.. even though I dream about it. lol. I guess part of me is unsure who I am, if I'm not the "fat girl"? I would love support.. and I'll be here for you as well. :)
Hi! I am new to this site also and have a huge amount of weight to lose. I'm 31 yrs old and have lost over 50 to almost 100 lbs many times before only to put it back on with a few more. So I guess I could fall into both catergories.

I am also 31, and I need to loose 140. I am finding it so hard. If I manage to loose 5 or 10 pounds I can't even tell by looking at my body. Then I get all depressed and put it back on.
I'm 31 (for another 8 days), and according to the program, I need to lose 180 pounds.
I honestly don't think that's possible though, as I know that a lot of my weight currently is made up of muscle - I've started with a goal of 80 pounds, then I'm going to re-evaluate.

Hello everyone, I also need to lose around 140 pounds. I grew up overweight like many of yall. I did manage to lose 120 lbs about 3 years ago and then I had 2 babies in 2 years. Leaving me now with all of the weight back, a 1 and a 2 yr old and very little time for exercise and diet. I am really hoping that this site and some support will give me the motivation to find the time.

I am new here too. I started trying to really lose weight about 5 weeks ago. My starting weight was 314...I have lost 21.6 pounds and I have a long way to go. I had a cheat week in there and gained back 5 pounds and I am so mad at myself. My husband is in the Navy and deployed right now so the stress level is high here. I have been fat all of my life since I was in second grade. I have a two year old little girl also. That is why I want to lose weight I don't want her to be like me also I want to be around for her. The doctor has put me on my last chance to get my cholestrol down. I would love a buddy to go through this with. Feel free to message me anytime...:)

I also am new here. I am 52 years old, 5'7" and currently weigh 275. A healthy weight for me is 145ish. My biggest hurdles are eating large portions and eating for emotional reasons. I also believe that I have a sugar addiction. I do well and lose weight when I do not eat sugar, but really go off course when I do. I have not exercised in a very long time, but have recently started walking with my dog. He is young and wants to walk LOTS faster than I can go, but he is a patient soul and trying to slow down a bit for me, and I am trying to speed up a bit for him. I would love to chat with others along the road to large, healthy weight loss.
Hi! According to CC, I need to lose 170 lbs. I am 32, weigh 314 and really need to lose weight. I have no idea where to start or if I'm doing anything right. I am trying my best to keep track of calories but my mind is jumbled. There is just so many things to remember and know and it's just overwhelming to me. I'm trying my best, though!
Hello, I am currently at 371-ish my highest was 395 in 2007 and i lost 65 lbs and recently relocated 40 or so of them...my goal is 143 but that may change as I get closer....
I too just started today. I'm ready to make a change in my life. I know I have a long way to go but you just have to start right? This thing said I needed to lose over 200lbs OMG! I weight about 400lbs (my scale wouldn't weight me this morning so I know I'm right around there--yieks). I am 6' tall. Good luck everyone!
I'm glad to see so many people have responded. Since my first post I have lost 15 pounds, but I'll be dammed if I know where it came from. Everything looks the same to me. My current worry is that the first 20 or so pounds seem to come off pretty easy, but then it kind of stops. What do you do when things kind of stall out?
Hello I am 31 and I need to lose 150 lbs. Everytime I have tried before I gain more weight but this seems to be working for me. For about a week I have stuck with the plan and have not cheated once and I finally feel control over my hunger. I do not have a scale so Im not sure how much weight I have lost but I have more energy and I feel excited all the time so at least Im happy. I am sure I will lose weight because I use to eat way more than I have been eating this week. I use to eat when I was bored and when I was sad and when.. well you know always a exuse to eat. Now I feel full after the things I eat and I have fun posting it on this sight it has replaced my boredom hehehe. So wish me luck because I have never been skinny my whole life but I always ate like a man and had zero control over it. Well I do not want to talk everyones ear off soo lets be friends and talk about losing weight together.
Hi all! I'd love to join your group! I'm 33 and WILL (fingers crossed) lose 150 lbs. I've battled my weight my entire life and have just been gaining since I've had kids. I know I'm an emotional eater and being in a bad marriage, well, i turned to food for comfort. I'd love to offer my support to others during our endeavor, since I know just how hard it can be!
Joined Today, but I am with you. 29, will be 30 in Aug. I have been gaining weight in 20 pound jumps for 10 years, but this last two jumps just put me over the edge. I have somewhere between 160 and 185 lbs to loose depending on whose chart you look at and what height I really am (Need to figure that out :) ) I can't focus on that number because I'm focused on the first 40 for a start.
I haven't ever had luck loosing weight, just gaining it. I'm a stay at home mom of four, and I haven't been taking care of myself. Time to put away all the excuses and just do this thing!

I am so glad that there are more people like me...I was begining to think that there were only "skinny" people on here trying to lose weight. When I have one of those struggle days I get upset when I see people moaning on this website about losing weight and they weight 150, 140, 160. I dream of those sizes...if only they knew how we feel and what we go through. The other ones that are 130 120 110. I just roll my eyes and and don't bother to read their posts. Not that I am trying to be mean I just don't understand them as I have never been small. Try carrying around another person on your body and then complain.
All I want is to get rid of the term obese completely. I will be satisfied, I will be able to handle slightly overweight but Obese hurts and Morbidly Obese makes me cry.
Thank all of you for posting and those of you whom have messaged me I don't feel alone anymore!!! I wish all of you luck and we will do this! WE CAN DO IT!
