It looks very healthy. You don't have anything artificial, or over-processed. It's fine to eat 6 times a day, if that's what you like doing.

I'm not sure about amounts, I'm not an expert. Your fat intake looks a little low. Maybe eat more almonds, or more of the avocado? Or stir fry your veggies in more than a tsp of oil?

very healthy indeed.

but i remember you claiming before that you eat SOOO much vegetables... and while that may be healthy, i think that since you are trying to gain weight and overcome anorexia, you need to up your intake a little more, and lay off some of the 'safe' foods, because by reading this it seems that is what you are doing.

try mixing some things up a bit, its okay to have a treat every once in a while, even something small every day... you need to get over the fear of certain foods.

and eating so many vegetables also seems to be too 'safe'... there are so many threads on this site of people asking "how much is too much veggies" or "can you gain weight from vegetables" or just people throwing around the ol' "i have never heard of anyone get fat from eating vegetables"

and theres the whole theory that 'some vegetables take more energy to digest than there are in them' or the "zero-calorie" theory... and if this rings true than you are probably slowing your weight gain.

of coarse i understand your fears, but for the meantime i suggest you eat as much as you can (hey, enjoy it!) until you reach a 'better' weight, than by all means go back to this diet, cuz hun it's pretty good :)

thanks heaps..... i had one piece of choclate tonight..... it was hard but i did it... my body is getting hungrier and im struggling to let myself eat more.

wow....well done. good for you. well done on the choc front. i take my perverbeal hat off to you for doing this alone and trying so hard. i agree with the above, maybe less veg and a little more protein at dinner. also maybe some carbs potato is always good or some rice. it will provide staple for your blood sugar and help your brain swinging back into action......also summit with calcium??? your bones must be hurting? wats the cal intake??
Although I think it is important that you eat lots of veggies, it seems that you are "filling up" on them at dinner. Instead of having 5 cups of veggies, try having 4 and 1/2 cup of rice or any other grain of your choice. Make it an all out Asian stir fry by adding some whole wheat pasta! :) Also, to boost calcium and healthy fats, you could try sprinkling sesame seeds over your veggies. They give them a wonderful crunch.

Other than that, your diet is very healthy. Just make sure that you change it up a bit and don't eat the same things to ensure you are getting all of your vitamins. As you increase your calories, you can add more foods, or simply increase portion size. Job well done, hun!
Your body is getting hungrier because your metabolism is revving up like a big engine! eat more (I know its hard) Im in the same boat at the minute..

All in all the diet your following looks great too congrats :) *Hugs*

Sweetie, with your weight, you need to be eating three times more than that if you want to be healthy again. Normal amounts just aren't gonna be enough. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but if you really want to recover, you need to eat a lot more. :)

thank you all for the kind words...... im going to keep trying to add more and look at rice or bread with dinner....... im so so so scared of these foods but know that they are good for me ....... pls keep reading my progress cause i could really use the support! thank so much again!

ur as bad as me awake at 4am......another sign that ur very very hungry!

i know the carbs thing is scary. i remember being terrified. and i remember being desperatly afraid of how satisfied they make ur stomac feel....al i cud think was "Jesus...im eating waaaay too much". ur not though. you have just gotten used to feeling empty.

i agree wit the above. i really salute u on get regular and somewhat normal portions or cal levels but u def def def need to be eatn the equivilant of 2 more ensures on top of that. with no aerobic exercise. thats wat we had to do on the eating disord programme. more than the meal plan u have ther AND 3 ensure drinks a day. and resting on the ward all day

weight gain occured at about 1-2lbs....takes a long time for organs n muscles to repair so lot of them extra cals do internal work

On the carbs issue, carbs are not the enemy.  You just want to avoid the simple and overly processed carbs.  White minute rice is not what you want to be eating as a general rule although in your case simply sufficient calories is the first step imo.  A serving of whole grain rice, brown rice, wild rice, quinona, cous cous, whatever grain that you want to eat is good for you.  If normal rice freaks you out, try one of the more exotic grains and see if it's different enough for you to be willing to eat it.  Mix it in with your vegetables so that it doesn't seem so overwhelming.

i increased today..... to be honest i feel so afriad im having a really hard time with all this:(

that's understandable, and not surprising.

we live in a soceity where 'diet this' and diet that' is all the rage... everywhere you look it's "lose weight", "no fat", "no carbs" blah blah blah... then there is all the fast food places throwing 'bacon double cheeseburgers with extra cheese and bacon' at us all the time, constantly contradicting the other companies plans to help those lose wieght.

case and point: we are conditioned to see weight loss as "good"... and weight gain as "bad"

you need to get your priorities together, what is more important to you: your life and your health... or being sick and miserable but 'thin'? (erm waaaay too thin and emaciated)

you need to have a balance.

you have sooooooooooooooooooo far to go and soooooooooooo much to gain before anyone would even consider you as being overweight... think like 70lbs to gain! thats like double yourweight right now... so try not to worry too much... any comments will be positive ones.

where are you stats wise anyways right now?

thanks carmen this really is getting overwhelming!
