it sounds good to me, but i wanted to know if anyone else tried it and got results? Dr. Mercola endorses it
That is what I thought when I first saw the price so i did TONS of research first. I didn't want to throw money out the door if it wasn't for real. It has full strength of all the natural ingredients. If you look at it that way, it is not much more than Fucothin as it has way more in it. Anway, it worked much faster than Fucothin so i'm paying the extra money as I won't have to be on it as long as the Fucothin!
If you get the 3 or 6 month package it is a actually a really good deal. I did the 6 month. Just research the ingredients and that will help you make your decision
I feel I am definitely getting my money's worth! I may use Fucothin for maintenance (if I need it!) after I have lost the next 30 pounds using You Be Slim.

yes I have tried Fucothin and it works for me.... I have been taking it for about 12 weeks with a week off here and their.... I am taking 9 pills (3, 3 x a day). I have not really changed my diet... I eat pretty healthy any way... drink only water and herbal tea... eat lots of organic veggies... my only down fall is cookies... I have not cut back on them..... I mentally try to keep my calories between 1500 and 2000 a day.... over estimating the amount of calories in the bad stuff and underestimating the amount in the veggies..... I have started walking to work a few times a week (8 miles round trip) but again I used to walk quite a bit anyway.... In the last 12 weeks I went from 162 lbs to 150lbs... the results are noticeable... and have lost three inches around my waist and hips.... and two inches around my rib cage.... I have not lost any weight in my breast... I wish I would they are a size H. My stomach is getting flat... that has never happened before even in high school. My only side effects are thirst... I want to drink 10 glasses of water a day.... I used to have to make my self do that.... and my pee smells like it does when I eat aspergas.
Hello, I wanted to touch base and let you know what I think of the Fucothin after being on it for seven weeks. Did it work for me, well yes and no. It helped me to change my mind frame. When I started to take the Fucothin it was the beginning of my realization that I had to start working out again. Do I believe the fucothin actually took the weight off me, no, I do not.
I had an illness that brought me down for a year and I put on 30 extra pounds on 12,000 calories a day. When I started to feel physically better, mentally I was unhappy with my body so I tried Fucothin. I did lose 4 pounds but I strongly contribute that was due to feeling better and I had started to have an increase in energy and working out a little more.
I only had one week left off pills and felt $40.00 was a lot to give a third month a try. I decided to quit, bought an elliptical on craigslist and lost another 4 pounds this week. My own personal conclusion is after a certain age there is no way around losing weight without working out. I even ate more calories last week, let’s face it 12,000 calories everyday for the rest of your life is unrealistic. I truly believe you have to get that metabolism back up with good old fashioned exercise and it took me two months to do it, so do not give up on the exercise if you do not see immediate results. I almost did and I am glad that I did not.
I know several people swear by Fucothin, but if you read through the posts in here most did change their diet or added some sort of exercise. Just taking the stairs verses the elevator could cause you to start losing weight in about the same time Fucothin claims that it kicks in. Read the box and it will tell you it is meant to be used with diet and exercise. I think you are paying $40.00 for seaweed.
My best advice is to invest in an elliptical, low impact high fat burn and skip the Fucothin. You can get a good one used for about the same price as eight months on Fucothin. My intention is not to hurt anyone in here that feels like Fucothin has helped them. I am just stating my opinion. If you decide you want to try it, do not be afraid of it, it really has no more side affects than a multivitamin, it is just seaweed. I only had my elliptical a week but I will let you know if I continue to lose weight off the Fucothin and on the elliptical.
Its 07-19-2008 and I have begun Fucothining again. I am lowering my calories too. I have gained. I stopped the fucothin and dieting for just a little time. i wanted a break.
I am at 133 now and would like to see 120 or 125. I just purchased a new pedometer and will be taking chunky puppies for many walks.
Also, am shopping for new bike.
Going grocery shopping tomorrow for all those low carb foods - organic of course! And lots of chicken, lean beef and fishy.
Good luck to everyone.
The part about russian study sounds very suspicious. Why Russia, anyway, why not let's say Zimbabwe? Who's the unknown dr. Ramazanov, anyone seen his credentials?
PS. Anyone that has spent at least a few weeks in russia would share my doubts about the study.
Has anyone ever tried a generic brand of fucothin? Such as from vitamins.com? FUCOXANTHIN? It is less expensive and has about the same ingredients. Just curious.

If you googled Dr. Ramazanov - his credentials would impress you.
I must say the Fucothin does something. Especially for someone who has yoyo dieted for some 20 or so years and who's metabolism is less than what it used to be.
No side effects. Jewlery is loose again even in this hot muggy 90+ degree heat. Yay Fucothin.
I've tried Fucothin and lost a few pounds, but stop taking it because it caused hot flashes and sweats. That was 2 1/12 wks ago, and I'm still having uncontrollable sweats, just out of nowhere. If I get embarrassed, or upset, or rushing to get ready to go somewhere, or angry, or sometimes for no reason at all, the list goes on, I'll just break out in a sweat. I really hope that it will get out of my system soon, cause it's not worth the embarrassment.![]()
Could it be something else?
I just restarted with Sea-Thin.
After I stopped for a few months I put on some weight and started to get my gut back.
I am hoping to get back on track by mid-October.
If anyone is interested in participating in a focus group for FucoThin, please contact me. I do freelance work for the company and am always looking for people who are interested in boosting their metabolism to help them on their road to weight loss. I can get you all of the information you need before making any commitments.
I personally have used it to help me lose 20 of the 100 lbs I need to lose after having my son almost 4 years ago on top of the stress eating I did after his birth and various health/medical issues.
FYI-for anyone who thinks that it's a "diet pill" it's not. FucoThin's use should be in addition to your regular diet and exercise regimen to help boost metabolism and help you lose a bit more than just with diet and exercise alone.
