My co-worker just started fucothin 2 weeks ago and has lost 20 lbs, and she has alot of health prolems and problems with her thyroid, that is proof enough for me. Her doctor recommended it along with diet and exercise, she is eating a 1300 calorie diet and exercises 1/2 hr a day and has had great result thatn just diet and exercise alone. I just ordered it for my self tonight. I have never tried pills before but diet and exercise aren't enough for me any more, I only eat 1200 calories a day and I exercise every free second I have but I am at a platue, I will keep posted on my results. I am a normal healthy person who needs to lose 15lbs, hopefully this works. I wish every one luck on their diets and weight loss plans!
where is everyone?  am i the only one "sticking to it?"  anyway, new side note:  I've stopped snacking like a lunatic.  Cookies have been remaining in the cabinets far longer lately !!  What's that about?  I have lost weight.  The button plackets on blouses are even. There is no gap, no pulling.  I have jeans that now just pull on or pull off, no messing with buttons or zipper.  This is the end of the 7th week (started 08-18, and will continue another 8- 9 weeks).  I have lowered calories - but really have NOT increased activity other than shopping.  I have also begun a carb blocker:  dieter's choice for carb control, made with white beans ( no gas, no stomach upset) to help with the carbs I do eat.  Also, I have begun some homeopathic remedies (elixirs.com) to help with weight, sinus probs, toxic chemicals in food, allergies, etc.  I am eating alot LESS and I don't think about food all day long anymore.  I can walk past the kitchen without going thru all the snacks.  I am not having full meals by tasting when I cook.  I used to stand at the stove and eat noodles, mashed potatoes, etc while COOKING.  No more.  It's nice.  I feel 'normal.'

I started it a week ago and I have lost. My starting weight was 178 and today, saturday 10-6 I am 170.5. I do not exercise but I plan to start walking and I plan to start watching what I eat. I really didn't expect them to work so I didn't take it serious I just tried because my husband asked me to try it with him. He has also lost. I dont really feel anything and no problems or side effects so far with them.

This fucothin product says to take with food. Does anyone know if the effects of the product will change if you don't take it with food? You see I have a very weird body. I eat alot Mon-Fri (mostly at work), but for some reason, on the weekends or when I'm off from work I hardly become hungry!  So there are times when I may only eat once or twice a day on the weekends and I am hoping this will not affect my results.  Can someone help!!!!

I can't imagine the seaweed portion doing anything to your stomach - maybe the pomegrante is harsh??  I suppose you can take two or three with each one or two meals. It was suggested not to take them later in the evening after 7 pm.  So I don't. 
   As long as you are taking them with meals during the week - I am sure only taking them once or twice on weekends wont stop it completely. Just remember with food.  There have been days I have not taken them at all - and I haven't missed a beat.  I am still losing.  My tee shirts are somewhat looser than usual - I can see the beginning of a waistline.   Finally.  I have begun my 8th week - 8 more to go ! I recently saw an ad for fucoTHIN on a religious channel.  So like I am very much in the habit of, I googled "fucoTHIN scam" and found nothing that would indicate that people are disappointed with it.  But that is how I came across this blog.

I am not over-weight, but I am under-happy with my pouch (consider my username for clarification).  I have reached a plateau at about 10 to 12 pounds over my target.  I have not begun counting calories, but I eat well and in good portions.  It is lunacy trying to find a consistent time to exercise everyday as I work days and my wife works nights and we have two young children!  :)  So my exercise typically consists of playing with my 6 year old son.  (You'd be surprised how many calories hide and seek will burn)

Anyway, I am very much considering fucoTHIN to help me drop the pouch.  But for some reason I have made the decision contingent upon the outcome of  luv2diet07's fucoTHIN trials.  And I can't be alone with that (I don't think).

So keep it coming!  And thanks for the input!  Rest assured that there are people reading your posts!  Thanks!

I'm still a dedicated fucothinner, just past my 3rd week. No dramatic results yet, sticking around 1500-1600 cals/day. My cal meter is 1300, so I think I will will drop it down to 1300. I'll post results at 6-8 weeks. Watching everyone's progress - looks good!

Hi guys! I've been taking fucothin for 2 weeks now. No results yet, but I'm patient. I have a question - Do I have to take Fucothin 3 times a days or can I get away with twice a day on occasion? I take 2 at a time, but sometimes I only eat twice a day. If I do get to a third meal, I'll pop one more. So even though I am taking more than enough every day, is the twice a day thing going to slow my results or ruin the whole thing all together???

Just a heads up if you have a Sprouts in your area (only in AZ, CA & TX) - I just saw this product in their flyer -  priced at $29.95 for 90 softgels.

 It definitely peaked my interest and I did some searching online when I found this website.  I like that this does not have many ingrediants and is natural.  After reading the posts on here I am definitely going to go buy some today and give it a try.  I have been working out and TRYING to eat better so hopefully this will rev up the success.

 I will definitely repost on any success.

My feeling about pills like this is that any effect is placebo. But as long as the pill isn't harming you, placebo away!

Just  to Let Everyone KNOW:  I AM LOSING WEIGHT.  I can now wear those expensive skin tight jeans of my daughter's and THEY ARE NOT SKIN TIGHT. I look great. Feel great.  FUCO THIN WORKS.  I have just purchsed my 3rd bottle and am taking three at each meal. 
    I have not felt like this since I was pre-pregnancy. Pre-goiter. Pre older.  I am not quitting.  There is something to this item that none other could do. That's enough for me.  I am thinner.  Even shoes are slipping in the heel where they were so snug before. Keep it up. It's just a gelcap.  Try a few. With food and water.  My parents/grandparents and siblings are fat. I was always fat. Plump. Luv2diet I'm glad this is working for you. How long did you take it before you noticed anything? Exactly when did you increase your dosage?

I am on week 5 and just increased to 5 pills a day last week. I have not seen any results. I don't have much weight to lose though. Maybe 15 lbs. But ever since I stopped smoking it has been very difficult to lose anything. That was over a year ago and I exercise at least 5-6 times a week for an hour doing weights or cardio or both.

Recently I started to take CLA. I intend to give it at least one more month though because I do have the pills.

   I have had to lose 25 pounds for a very long time.  (better for blood pressure, triglycerides, cholesterol, etc  any weight loss is good). I began the seaweed on 08-18 and I posted on 09-11 that jewelry was slipping.  This was the first indication of something happening.  Then I decided to decrease calories slowly - I try to keep  1200 and it is not easy !! I believe I found out you can take more -product- around the 09-11 posting too.  I am only 5'4" and being over 150 is no fun.  I have tried everything.  It may be my thyroid that this seaweed is affecting. I am not sure.  I have reduced calories - I don't exercise unless its a trip to the mall.  The recent fitting of the snug jeans is quite a welcome surprise. It is working.  I don't know why.  I am on the third bottle - and am taking 4 to 5 twice a day, less, maybe one or two,  in the evening.  (My rings are starting to bother me, they are quite loose - and the hollows in my cheeks and around my eyes. Thats a first, complaining about bones showing. They are showing on my chest too. ) 

Luv2diet you really have increased the amount significantly. I didn't realize that.

I'll give it one more week before considering another increase.

I just received an email from garden of life and they will be updating dosage info on bottle wraps soon.  I was informed 3-9 a day is enough.  Ok.  I will adjust. 
   One thing:  I really believe the 1200 calorie diet plan I ordered from Seattle Sutton helped me to realize what 1200 calories a day actually looked like.  It was an eye opener.  There was really enough food. I am a snackaholic. But something toned that down. I don't know what. Instead of 20 organic chocolate chip cookies,  I can eat 2 or 3 and be ok.  Did the seaweed do this? I don't know. Whatever.  It's working. That  is all I want.  The email also claimed the supplement does not stop working after 16 weeks, even though that is when the test ended.  They have no info on current weight for those test subjects.  I asked. 
  (not only do i notice bones in upper chest area, but less back cleavage under bra strap! Praise the Lord !)  Power to the Fucothinners.

 I just read your prior post about looking into lipo.  I'm definitely not against this as i've had it before on my arms but unfortunately I did not get even close to the results I had hoped for!

 I know you don't exercise but I wanted to share with you a little exercise I do while watching tv that REALLY helps the waist/love handle area.

Just stand with your feet apart and twist your upper body as far as you can to the left and then same on the right side...i do 100 on each side while watching tv...let me know if you try it and if it helps. 

 Also congrats on the the great weight loss - i just took my 1st ever fucothin this morning and reading your posts I'm already looking forward to upping the dosage in a few weeks...it seems this might be a good key to getting better results.

i am just so excited about this.  And good luck to you.  I really do need to workout.  I must work on the "bat wings" that have been hiding in sleeves for so long.  I just hate working out. One more thing: my diet has consisted of: two cups coffee w/ cream/sugar in the am around 630, 1/4 c lofat cottage cheese and grape tomatoes around 11-12n, a grahm cracker sheet or fruit for snack, a lean cuisine meat and veggie entree for dinner around 530-600 pm.  Snacks are usually a flavored rice cake and fuze drink.  THAT HAS BEEN IT FOR THE LONGEST TIME. And it's ok.  I went from way too many calories to normal amount for desired weight ! And what the seaweed pill has to do with this?  I don't know.  Iwish they would do testing on people known to have sluggish thyroids.  I am taking 3 -4 pills with each meal and water. 
  Thanks for the exercise for the waist area - I need it bad. But I am already whining.  Good luck again.  (i should try misplacing my laptop for awhile and see if that helps with exercise)

I have read all the posting on Fucothin here and have followed them as much as possible, but one afternoon I went shopping after work and lost track of the time. I looked at my watch around 6:58pm and realised I had not taken my last dosage for the day (previous postings say not to take after 7pm). I quickly grabbed my supply and popped 2 in my mouth followed by some bottled water thinking "it's not 7 yet". WELL!! That night around 12 or so "I can't remember" I woke up and was HOT!! I figure that It was because I took my dosage too late and my metabolism was on high. This has never happened before and hasn't happened since. My heart was not racing nor was I sweating, but I was just hot. I drank some cold water and went right back to bed (slept like a baby).So just letting you know- If it is near, on, or past 7pm DO NOT TAKE IT- you can afford to miss that dosage.

P.S.

This may be handy for the up comming Winter season. Wink Just thinking on ways to keep the gas bill low and still loose weight :-)
