Hey, I have joined CC as a true start for my weight loss(hopefully). I am in my final year at university and want get healthy and lose(some) weight before i have to start work.

Starting this topic to keep me on track as i have tried to lose weight many times before and failed. Lots of tips needed.

Todays weight does not surprise me one bit. I drank way to much this weekend and didnt count any of it.

Starting: 254

Last Week: 237.2

This Week: 237.8

Lost/Gain: +.6

Total loss: 16.2

At least it was only .6 gain. Im happy about that.

4 pounds down!! Hooray!!! I feel so freaking good about myself right now I can't even express it to you!!! I busted my ass all week. It was hard, but I did it. And it shows!!!! 

Jen - don't feel too bad about the .6 gain. It's probably mostly water weight anyway! Maybe drink a ton of water today, consume almost no sodium, and sneak a check again tomorrow. You might be pleasantly surprised!

Down two this week!  Pretty good, that was with absolutely no exercise and I weighed in on Wednesday last week because of my scale problems.  I'm hoping to get out and exercise more this week to drop a little extra.  Good job so far everyone.

I'VE BEEN READING UP ON EVERYONES WEIGHT LOSS AND I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN IF I CAN. YOU GUYS ARE MOTIVATING AND I CAN REALLY USE THE HELP. I HAD A BABY LAST JUNE AND WANT TO TAKE OFF AT LEAST 30 LBS BEFORE HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY ON JUNE 13TH. I HAVE 19 MORE POUNDS TO GO. I WOULD HAVE TO LOSE 2.23 LBS PER WEEK TO REACH MY FIRST GOAL WEIGHT. I KNOW I CAN DO IT.

I dont understand.  Yesterday I was 229 and today I'm 233?  I hope its all water.  Ive been working out a lot the past few days.  :(  I haven't eatan anything bad either!  Its also (that time of the month).  Hope next week is better!

if it's that time of the month, i can pretty much guarantee it's all water weight. weigh yourself when it's all over with and you might even find that you've lost twice the weight you should have!! don't get discouraged!

I only lost a pound! But I did NOT work out at all! I was getting a lil stressed about my wedding and I overate big time! So at least I lost something right! This week I'm off to a good start. Eating right, and excercising... hoping to lose at least 3 lbs this week I think it's possible. Once again good job everyone!

I hope it's just water weight!  I'll keep my fingers crossed for next weigh in.  I wonder if it could be that I am gaining muscle?  I have been working out every morning and playing soccer in the afternoons sometimes.  Has anyone else ever noticed that if you work out every day you gain weight?  I noticed this before too.  Hopefully that and water weight so I'm drinking all the water I can hopefully drop the water and be normal again.  Embarassed lol

I've been meaning to ask you if the 12183 is your birthday.  Mines 12-1-83 and I use the same sequence in a lot of user names and such.  I noticed the numbers right away and was curious...

Yup that's my birthday!  We have the made exact birthday!  LOL. 

12183, alot of people see that and think my birthday is 1-21-83. 

I have decided that to stop me falling of the wagon(healthy eating and excercise wise) I am going to set myself some time limits for my mini goals

205lbs - 15th April 2008 (current weight)

200lbs - 29th April 2008 (average weight loss per week needed - 2.5lbs)

190lbs - 3rd June 2008 (average weight loss per week needed - 2lbs)

180lbs - 29th July 2008 (average weight loss per week needed - 1.25lbs)

What about everyone else when do you want to achieve your mini goals by?
