I really hate pasta--especially spaghetti, which makes people shocked. I also cannot stand corn on the cob. I happen to like many uncommon foods though; such as liver, entire unpeeled carrots (tops included), and raw kale.

Me too!! I hate the stuff. Growing up I refused to eat it and got it literally shoved down my throat by my dad.
I will make it for hubby because he likes it, but that's as far as I will go.
I don't like most pasta dishes at all - That most especially includes mostaccioli, ravioli and dishes of that nature. Ultra Yuck!!!!
All my friends think that is really weird that I wont touch the stuff.
Ketchup makes me gag and it always has since I've been a little girl. Bleh I hate the stuff
hot fudge. YUCK! I think I might be the only one!!
Milk. x_x
And it's not just the whole comes-from-a-cow-belly thing. The texture, the flavor, all of it.
I HATE CHEESE! whatever kind it is it just tastes disgusting to me. leaves this weird taste in my mouth.
other than that i'm fine with anything else =D
Beer. No matter how many I try, it all tastes like the same bitter, spoiled yeast to me.
Anything with mayo. Ick. I can't stand watching people slather it all over their sandwiches.
Cilantro. Ruins all kinds of Mexican for me.
missmagil - I HATE corn on the cob! My family looks at my like I have a tree growing out of my head everytime I refuse to eat it. I also hate many cooked veggies - peas unless they are in a stirfry in the pod (but i do like them raw), any kind of corn or creamed corn, raw broccoli, cauliflower, beets (unless they are in a broth-based beet soup).
Not a fan of milk, unless it is a drop in my coffee (in fact, i used to drink it black, but because of GERD, I can no longer do that).
Hmm...what else....poptarts....chocolate with "stuff in it" or wafers....ice cream doesn't agree with my tummy, I would rather drink a slurpee.
That's all for now haha!
edit: all mayo, butter etc. I eat everything, including potatoes, bone dry
-fish
-tofu
-cheesecake
-creamy soups
-ALL pudding
-jambalaya
-meal replacement
-milkshakes/chocolate milk (because they remind me of meal replacement)
-popsicles (really painful on my teeth)
-ribbon candy
-cheese whiz (my dad used to make us eat cheese whiz and jam sandwiches - YUCK!)
-PREM canned ham
-Worthers candies
-plain red /black licorice
-cottage cheese
-liver & onions
-dark meat and skin (ex. turkey, chicken etc.)
-alcohol of any kind
-ranch dressing
Chocolate
Ice Cream
Milk
Peanut butter
Ketchup
Any kind of cake, cookie, pie, candy
Cereal
I would rather eat sand than any of the above food
Sweet and Low.
I like all that other stuff you guys mentioned, and I read every post. So when we go out to eat, I'll have all the fois gras and beef tongue. I'll have that bowl of menudo with a bunch of lemon squeezed into it. Back that up with a beer. I am surprised nobody said calamari, but I suppose the blanket "seafood" folks did, in a way. And all the mushrooms . .. send 'em my way.
Pork products will not go to waste. I am not a fan of head cheese, but it's edible.
And I'll dip my french fries in mayo (though I prefer malt vinegar and lots of salt). If there's only bleu cheese, that, OK for me on my salad or even spread on celery sticks. The more pungent the better. And the rest of the cheese. And please bring on the relish tray with all the varieties of pickles and olives.
I'll eat the chocolate and the cheesecake and every nut, seed or fruit they put on the table. But when I get my espresso, keep the sweet and low away.
Durgy: That was very poetic.
For me? The one that immediately springs to mind is fish and chips. Breading, battering, covering something in that nature... baffles me. Especially on fish and seafood. Why take the flavour away from something so lightly flavoured? And chips are gross. Deep-frying is generally gross. Blegh.
I also don't like curry very much. I'll eat it every once in a while and only if it's high quality - not a takeaway - but even then I'd pick a lot of other things over it. s:
milk on cereal
peanut butter (and peanuts, to a lesser extent)
celery (though I'm not sure how many actually adore the stuff)
fresh mango (tastes like soap to me)
greasy food (I actually "clean" fried food with paper towels until no more grease comes off/out)
mayo and olives.... blech...
Fine with me though, I don't need the fat or the salt.
Any kind of nuts, or anything containing nuts.
Garlic and anything containing garlic.
Beetroot
Sprouts
Swede, butternut squash
Fruit teas
- Pickles, Relish (anything pickled really)
- Those green olives with the pimento in them
- Bleu Cheese
- Fatty Meats (bacon has to be cooked, or I will cut the fat off. EW)
- Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus, raw Spinach, Cauliflower
- Cole Slaw
- Deep fried just about anything (too greasy, makes me sick)
- Almost all fast food restaurants I'm SUPER picky at
- Liver n' Onions (ew)
- Blueberries most of the time (boysenberries too!)
- White rice (tastes like paste to me)
- Refried beans (give me black beans PLEASE)
- Lobster, clams, oysters, scallions, crab (I LOVE shrimp though)
- Wine (red or white), beer, margaritas
Problem with me is I ♥♥♥ these things:
- Cheese, yogurt, ice-cream
- Almost ALL baked goods
- Chips, popcorn, candy
- Almost ALL fruit (sugar filled, even if it is good sugar!)
- BREAD, pasta, more bread
- Honey, butter, jam
- And more generic sweets
- Most Mexican food

I hate bacon and most people are shocked... "how could you NOT like bacon?" It's gross.
Amen...the texture just turns me off, and the taste isn't that great either

You're not alone! I can't believe how people can drizzle that stuff all over good ice cream haha
