My little one is seven months old and I still need to lose ten pounds. The first twenty fell off without even trying. I am exercising and watching my calories. I think my metabolism has changed. Any suggestions on getting back to pre pregnancy shape? How long did it take everyone else?

Well good for you for losing the 20! I have just started to actively attempt to lose my baby weight my daughter is now 5 months old and I am ready to commit now that I think I have this parenting gig down :) Let me know how it goes!
I lost mine from walking (while pregnant), and breastfeeding after.
It always seems like no matter how hard I try I don't get my pre -baby body back till my little one is just shy of a year. This being said it has been a year (my son turns one this month!) of calorie counting running and moderate weights to take me to goal. I gained 40 lbs with this pregnancy and 30 with my 1st and it still seems like my "one year rule" holds true regardless Good luck, keep at it, don't be too hard on yourself and enjoy your baby!
my little one is 4.5 months...im dying to get to my pre-pregnancy weight since i wanted to be about 30lbs below that when I found out i was pregnant.
The first 25 fell off like nothing...ive got 15 more to go until i get to the pre-pregnancy part.
How is your battle going so far? I have found walking is key and a great way to encourage a nap for the little one.
My daughter is 11months old and just last week I got super serious about losing my baby weight. I gained 35lbs during pregnancy. I still have my baby weight plus 12lbs!!! Yikes!!! Before the baby I was in decent shape but wanted to lose 20lbs...so, minor set back. Calorie count has really helped me stay focused!!! Yay!!! When she was born I instantly lost 20lbs and was still losing when I breast fed but had to stop because of conflicts. I'm hoping to lose all if it by the end of fall.
I was 256 lbs at the hospital June 6th before having my 10lb 8 oz son. That was 21/2 weeks ago.... 37 lbs of that is gone and I am now at 219. I've lost my waddle and am healing up so time to get serious about my target weight of 180lbs. I'm 6'1" and thick boned FYI so 180 on me looks just right... Any less and I'm Bony....yek! At any rate, I'm feeling overwhelmed because 40 lbs is a lot of weight to lose but it's good to hear you guys did eventually get there:). Today was day one. *sigh*. I really hope I can do this.
I'm right there with you! My oldest is 19 months old and now I have an 8 week old but with summer here I really want to drop the weight. I was still carrying 10 lbs of baby #1 weight when I got pregnant with #2. I'm hoping that sticking with CC and doing different workouts 6 days a week will help. I'd like to drop 25 lbs by #1's second birthday in Nov.
I gained 55 pounds with my daughter who is 3 months old today. I've been back to dieting and exercising for 3 weeks and am seeing results but still have another 20 to lose to get back to the old me. With my first I didn't lose the last 5 pound until I stopped breast feeding at about 1 year. I have a feeling this will be similar.
My baby is 5 months old now and I still have 12 lbs left to lose to get back to my pre pregnancy weight... I gained 58 lbs :/ Lotsss of stretch marks and a csection scar... That's what's most difficult for me... I feel like after I lose the weight my tummy is still going to be ugly :( Buttt that's where my peanut grew so I accept my fate of forever wearing one pieces *sigh*
