your fav smoothies

I was wondering what everyone favorite smoothies are. I know there are like 2328473 different smoothies to make but what do you make that is healthy and yummy?

The only thing I always make is one banana with soy milk. It is so simple to make and perfect as an on-the-go meal.

So if anyone knows other receipes that work let me know :)

I don't have a specific recipe, but in general my philosophy is "the more berries, the better"!  I usually do 1/2 a bag of frozen berries, 2 containers of yogurt, splash of milk and if needed, a splash of sparkling flavored water (this makes two smoothies).

Nut butter banana smoothie; 2 tbsp. nut butter, 1 banana, cup of soymilk

Very berry smoothie; 1 cup of berries, 1 banana, cup of soymilk, 1 tsp. flaxseed oil

Chocolate protein banana smoothie; cup of vanilla soymilk, 2 tbsp. vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp. organic cocoa powder, 1 banana, 1 tsp. agave

Strawberry hemp smoothie; cup of vanilla hemp milk, ripe strawberries, tsp of agave nectar

1 apple - core and cut in small pieces

BASIC BREAKFAST SHAKE

1/2 cup frozen berries of choice or half a frozen banana

1 cup fat free milk

1/4 lbs. tofu

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 package sweetener or tsp agave nectare

Blend til smooth

Tis the season for a pumpkin smoothie! I no it may sound a bit weird but i love it!

1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt

1/4 cup pure pumpkin

1/2 frozen banana

splash of orange juice

1-2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon

3-4 ice cubes

i usually add 1/2 cup of fiber one and it tastes like pumpkin pie :)

im a berry girl too; im not sure exactly the quantities (i'm not on a weight loss diet) but;

Mixed berry flavoured yoghurt, strawberries, kiwi, peach/frozen banana (whatever is on hand..  i find mango has too strong a flavour, overriding the berry flavour.. but sometimes i do a mango smoothie), splash of orange juice/orange

If i have them on hand (they're expensive!) blueberries and raspberries (frozen or not) go in too!

I like variety, but mine all have a plain, fat free yogurt base.  I put in any fruit I have handy and it's always good.  Once in a while I do a non dairy fruit smoothie with a fruit juice base and a mixture of different fruits.

I use an immersion (stick) blender to make mine because there is less clean up.

rachelcrow - I definitely agree with you with more berries!

ichigochanx - I like the chocolate protein banana smoothie it sounds yummy. What brand do you use for protein powder?

Thanks everyone for your recipes! They all sound absoultely yum-o :) I am going to have to try all of them!
