Here's my fav for breakfast:
1/2 an orange
a few frozen peach slices
open, stir in 1 scoop of Nectar Fuzzy Navel protein powder. Don't blend it, it'll be frothy. LOVE IT!
IMITATION BULLETS ARE NOT SWEET. THEY ARE AWFUL. CRBIT SAYS HI.
IF ANYONE HASN'T WATCHED THE INFOMERCIAL, YOU REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED TO.
NO!!!! When will you people learn?!?!?! IMITATION BULLETS ARE NOT AMAZING!!!!!!! I DO NOT ENJOY THEM!
Really simple... 1 slimfast shake and some ice, then blend. Comes out thick and cold! Love my magic bullet. Great for making smoothies and salsas.
Does this stuff still work with the single blade? I lost the cross blade D:
Soups are fantastic and easy to make in the magic bullet, i've been making them and everytime with good results and if you use the large blender attachment there is enough for 4 people, I have used the most basic ingredients. This week made broccoli and stilton. Carrot and coriander. Leek and potato, roasted pepper and carrot and butternut squash and ginger. All are healthy with no fats added.
♥ BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND GINGER SOUP
Ingredients: 1 butternut squash, small piece of ginger (slightly bigger than a malteser size) 1 clove of garlic. Black Pepper and salt. (you could add chilli too)
Cut squash, garlic and ginger into pieces. Season. Boil everything in water for 8-10 minutes. Pour everything including the water its boiled in into the large blender unit. Blend. Its delicious and healthy. Enjoy.........
♥ BROCCOLI AND STILTON SOUP
Ingredients: Broccoli Stems (5 large florets should be enough), stilton, salt and black pepper. Milk or milk and water mix.
I use quickasteam steaming bags (you can buy these in pound shops or on ebay really cheap - they are ideal to cook salmon, chicken in too in 2-3 mins) put the broccoli in the steaming bag, cook in microwave for two and half minutes. Put in blender. Put some stilton in (I use a small wedge but depends on personal taste. Add salt, black pepper, milk or milk and water and blend Mmmm delicious........
♥ CARROT AND CORIANDER SOUP
Ingredients: 2 large carrots. Handful of Coriander. Salt and black pepper. Milk or Milk and water mix (in all these recipes you can add chilli or garlic to taste or other herbs but sometimes its best keeping it simple to taste ingredients)
Cut carrots into juliennes, not as finicky as it seems, I just cut carrots in half, half again then cut into strips, then they cook quicker in steaming bags. If you dont have steaming bags, just boil for 6-8 minutes and cut anyway, if using steaming bags two and half minutes. Put everything into blender and blend. Yum yum....
♥ ROASTED RED PEPPER AND CARROT SOUP
Ingredients: 1-2 red peppers, 2 carrots. Milk or milk and water mix. Salt and Black pepper (chilli and garlic optional)
Cut Peppers in half, put a tiny drop of olive oil in palms and rub over peppers, roast (you could put them in while you have a sunday roast in for a lovely starter) prepare carrots as previous recipe. Put everything in blender and blend..............
♥ HOPE YOU ENJOY MY RECIPES ♥
Oh I always make Nut pates and raw cheese with my magic bullet!
It is so great for dips and single servings in my household :)
I soak 2 handfuls of sunflower seeds for an hour or two (more is better but sometimes I'm too hungry!)
Bullet up 1/4 onion with 1 stalk of celery, a few baby carrots and bit a garlic.
Add the sunflower seeds, blend up with a teaspoon of olive oil. Add some lemon juice.
-add other spices to change the pates, so perfect for wrapping with a Collard leaf and some avocado slices in it...hell frying up some onions, mushrooms and peppers and adding that on top would be more delicious I bet!
This is why I love the Magic bullet the most.
Throw 2 handfuls of soaked cashews in a cup, with a few dashes of salt and one dash of cayenne pepper. Add half of a large red pepper. Twist on the blade and lock into blend. While the Bullet is blending, shake the blender up and down and the red peppers natural juice will turn the mixture into a nice texture like cheese dip! MMM SO GOOD!!!
I love deviled eggs, but I get tired of the same old recipe.
Here's one that works great in the Bullet:
6 hard boiled egg yolks
1/3 cup mayo
1/3 cup chili sauce.
add all 3 ingredients to the tall cup. blend with cross blade until smooth and creamy.
I use this as a dip with baby carrots or club crackers. Serve it warm or cold, doesn't matter.
I recently received a Magic Bullet as a gift from my boyfriend in an effort to help me on my quest for losing weight. My first recipe with the Magic Bullet was an avocado smoothie and because I use it as a meal replacement (usually breakfast) it was great! I love love love my Magic Bullet. It's definitely one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.
Here's the recipe for the avocado smoothie if anyone is interested. I got it from www.avocados.org... they have many other wonderful recipes with avocados. Yumm!
1/2 ripe, fresh california avocado
1/2 cup honeydew melon chunks (about 1 slice)
Juice from 1/2 lime (1 1/2 tsp. lime juice)
1/2 cup milk, fat-free
1/2 cup fat-free yogurt, plain
1/4 cup apple juice or white grape juice (I did mine with apple juice)
1/2 Tbsp. honey
11g of fat (healthy fats)
I use my magic bullet mostly for smoothies.
My favorite is skim milk, peanut butter, a frozen banana (peeled first) and chocolate protein powder (chocolate syrup works in a pinch).
Best healthy milkshake ever!!!
I also use it like a food processor.
Grind bread for bread crumbs to top meats with.
Grind graham crackers or cinnamon toast crunch cereal or cookies for pie type crusts.
I dry my herbs, then grind and freeze. (Can freeze in water or olive oil in ice cube trays for quick recipe additions.
grind veggies for your own homemade ranch dip. Carrots, celery, onion, etc and then add your ranch powder and milk or yogurt or sour cream or any combination you want.
I freeze all my left over berries, banana's pineapple etc to use in smoothies too.
If you like coffee drinks, freeze left over coffee in an ice cube tray and then use those to blend your drinks. (I never ever use regular ice unless I'm desperate!)
Chop any veggie combination and put in omelet or salads.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
